I think the problem is that Alf is permanantly hard a starboard, or hard a something, thats why we is going round in circles. Someone said watch out foir the needles and poor Alf spent the day looking for his sea wife. No buttons on his trousers, belt and barces gone, so one hand for the wheel and one for himself. Now if we could just get him to go a bit south by south east we might just get out of the river.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

You should be on the stage you lot!
Years ago.........As a cheeky first-tripper,the Mate called me to the bridge(after a good session previous night)-saying "You know,laddie-you should be on the stage!
A Minute later the Bosun appeared with a plank,2 ropes and a drum of funnel paint!

Elation to Devastation in less than a minute!

HO NO.Alf's been into Gulliver's Viagra. hes gone stiff all over,HEY John give us a hand. if you hold him upright, ill put the ship on course , south by south east it is. right were on course now.OK John, manoeuvre him over here to the wheel, thats it. right ill line up the spokes of the wheel. when i say push, push him hard in to the wheel, PUSH.great his pecker went in between the spokes just as i hoped .hold him and ill put a lashing around his pecker. great job John. it should take about 3 days for that Viagra to wear off. Right lads were heading for the SUN!!!. I'm going to the fog locker now, but after Ive washed my hands first, any body got some carbolic soap??? or better still domestos. i dont want to catch anything nasty.
Cor the things i do for you lot. ho thanks MIKE, thats a nice bottle of 4 bells , i will enjoy that in the fog locker

We are risking our lives with Alf on the wheel as it is.
SS Viagra might be a good one. Would keep us upright if nothing else.
    Den.
Den. I don't know about viagra as the Doc put me on it. IT's in powder form and you put it in your tea, no good for your sex life but keeps your soggy digestive nice and firm. Mike

Oi! Settle down now me hearties-and I'll try and win me that CRATE of 8 Bells you promised.Actually I'm certain now it's called 4 Bells-but seeing as I like doubles then 8 will do very nicely.

....Names.Now ,take that VASOLENE....think you mean that Swedish Vasa Line company's vessel, cause when I was a young 'un,tossing about in the Med.,I saw her sistership....AXEL GREECE quite regularly. She'd usually berth next to that Arab vessel K.Y.DJELI-or am I confusing her with THE FIERY JACK.(That's always painful). I remember(surprisingly) seeing all that Hong Kong company's ships out in the Bay-you know them-all named after celestial objects----There was SEA STAR,SEA MOON, ..er SEA NEPTUNE and SEA URANUS,which always caused an excited twitter amongst the Glory'ole Girls

And if Alf could have seen Uranus we mignt not have got into this mess in the first place. Dont know how long the Viagra will last but when it weras off he will no doubt nod off then where do we go? Could end up with the Indians on the moon. Now when you get a telmarketer calling it wont be from Mumbai, it will be from Moonby.

We've improved it the distillery is on the arf deck and we built it with the 'bricks supplied by Den from the galley.
The bricks taste nice but they're better as a building substitute as impervious to water. I tried sucking with my gums and can't soften 'em. Mike
