I did notice on the BBC TV news channel, (231) that the two flagpoles on No. 10 usually both with Union flags, one of them had the England flag

Well lets face Downing Street is in England. Scotland flys the Satire, Wales flys that funny red dragon and NI flys a Red Hand throwing a petrol bomb!

#49 True Lewis, but that's no reason why we should not fly it, we have to recover it from this mob and show that it means something to te Country and is not owned by the mobs

Re: 23rd April
100% agree Ivan. It has been high jacked by right wing nut cases. It was only right and proper that it was flying from 10 Downing st on Saint Georges day. As a matter of fact it should be flown from all public buildings in England during St Georges day.
Must admit here in N Ireland many flags are flown be they the Union flag or the Ulster flag or Irish flag, sadly mostly these flags are flown not out of a sense of national pride but just to get up the other half of the countries nose. At the bottom of my road on the village green they fly the Irish flag at the other end of the village there is another Irish Flag, there is also this one starry plough.jpg which is a new version of the Starry Plough first used by the Irish citizen Army flag 2.jpg 383px-Flag_of_Ulster.svg.png the prods have their own version of the Ulster flag.Ulster_Banner.svg.png then there is this one Flag of Saint Patrick St Pats flag.jpg
