When looking at forums there is an icon on the left of the page these are three different colours anyone know what the different colours mean
They are
red/brown
blue/grey
grey
I have noticed if there is a small green arrow pointing to the left then that is a thread I contributed to.

If its the other one then that is just showing if you have posts therin, If Grey means you have no posts there!

Sorry Doc I may be a bit thick here but I do not understand your answer.
There are icons with a small green arrow in them when I hover my mouse over these it tells me how many postings I have made to the thread. If there is no small green arrow I have not made a posting to that thread. That is straightforward.
But I cannot figure out why some icons are brown and some are grey as I have postings in some that are grey and some that are brown.
Also I have another question the icon shows a small envelope and some show an open envelope with a number pages showing. I cannot figure out the significance of these either.
