Terry mate if they were the Dunlop style as per M.N. issue I can well understand. But the lunch for Christmas day could have been worse, the Welsh witches suggest lamb Wellington. But then we discovered who was wearing the wellingtons and why. That lamb would have been well and truly stuffed, and the shepherds were supposed to be washing their socks by night. But Terry just think, at least with Oxo you will get a square meal.

    Hi All.
Thanks for the best wishes for a good Christmas and new year.
Well gulliver, we will try and find you can you put a big X on the Esso map .As to where you are, as were all going blind on this ship of ours must be something to do with the alcohol in the barometer. We have a skeleton crew ( in more ways than one) Never mind it will save on the xray fees, just hold us up to a 40 watt light bulb. One good thing though, Terrys feeding us up with his OXO cubes recipes so hes learning. just got to help him out with his French now.
Always thought les b anne was a treasure ,as she has the sunken chest.
Let go forward let go aft, heading for sunnier climes

Ha Ha! Geoff(in Horn of Plenty).....sunken chest indeed!; Judging by the look she's just given me you're for the gangplank walk next trip, mate. Now,I wonder where the alcohol in that barometer went then,Geoff....eh?

I heard that an OXO cube each was about par for the course for Christmas Dinner on the Blue Star Ships.....I mean even Hungry Harrisons managed a Cockroach Casserole.

What do you mean "Let go for'd ,let go aft"?

Well, you go ahead then.,but you'll be the only one. We're staying here till the weather turns-which means till cold weather hits you lot in the Antipodes...and we get our first heatwave here in Blighty. Might be some time.

So it's Merry Christmas from me....and Bah!Humbug from 'er.

    All the Best!

Well Gulliver if Geoff is in the horn of plenty is he getting everyones share? You may have done better just to take the box when you dug up Les B Ann, it may have looked better and been useful. Just like the Oxo, a square meal in a box! But have no fear we will find you before the summer heatwave in Blighty, but not sure which year that is planned for. And Geoff mate we may have to use candles for the X ray as Vernon sold all the light globes to a group of nomadic Arabs down by the banks of the Red sea. But what ever you do keep them away from queenie.

    Hi All.
Ever since the alcohol from the barometer went missing, ive had this terrable Guts ache and wind, phaaaarp so thats why i was leting go forward let go aft. Ive got so much wind i could fly a kite, Phaaaarp.Even the tugs have come along side thinking we were calling for them, phaaaaarp.
You will have to tell Les b anne to bring her own plank Terry just used the last one for the galley fire.
As for the candles, well i know they sip in easy and not to greasy or so im told, but i think Vernom has sold then already, sorry.

Twas the night befor Christmas and all the crew went A.W.O.L. aprt from Alf shackled to the wheel, he is now a shadow of his former self. But have no fear Les B Ann and Queenie are out on press gang duties and will soon round them up. I said we should never have anchored off the isle of Lesbos, they have Zuccini named after them you know. Den said he went ashore to find a new recipe for tab nabs, but heard he got his tab nabbed by one of those big butch shelias. Vernon is seaching for a new still to produce the 42 bells he says he can now make, Mike had aquired by some very dubious means paint, tins of it ,and no doubt brushed and rollers, so our rust bucket will be sparkling new in no time.
