Now now Terry, no need to be upset, but if you do puke then on your head to clean it up, the galley boy is gone, last seen heading for the island of Lesbos. Now Den as you are away in the desssert, or is it the desert? Which ever, but as you are an integeral part of the ship we will be putting one whole serve of Christmas lunch into safe keeping for you. Taffy has sugested we have it embalmed in surgical spirits, but I said that would be a waste of good drinking so it will be freeze dried until you return. Maybe you could find a suitable menu for Easter??????????????????????
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    Hi All.
Well its obvious that Terry is not a reader of the latest yuppie mags on A la garbage carte menu,s. Maybe we should send him on a coarse for trainee chefs, maybe that's why he jumped ship ,as he couldn't keep up with our high standards of cuisine. Den are you still in the desert, thought you would have been home by now!.The last time i tried to knock up something in the desert i asked her what was in it for me ? she said sand. Have to go now and look for guts ache the galleyboy as Terry left us a few deposits in the galley after reading our menu, and i dont want to slip init.

Would have prefered the spirts though!.
Get that lazy galley boy on the clean-up, thats if you can find him.

    hi Terry,
Hope you have a good Christmas and new year and may all your dreams be wet ones.

Maybe you and Den could have a cook off in designing our Easter menu, you cant get any worse than John in a daze. Rules are B-S-B, Beg, Steal or Borrow. No money is to be spent as we have none to spare ,actually we havent got any anyway. What do you recon? are you up to it???
Have a good holiday and take care.

    Hi Den.
Are you going soft in your old age? Fancy flying south for the winter.Next thing you will be telling us is that your starting to grow feathers ready for the flight back to the breeding grounds in Canada, Haha
Sorry about us keeping the spirits but if we have to eat Johns Christmas fare i think we will need fortifying with something a bit stronger than Vernons watered down knats water that he passes off as rum, it needs a glass to hold itself up.
Ive looked everywhere for that lazy git of a galley boy ,but cant find him, cant stand doing this washing up much longer. might have to start doing a porthole fling.

Well Taffy 1 eye, it beats the hell out of shoveling snow.
A balmy 74f today. Cheap rum down here as well.May even start using it in the tab-nabs insteaad of rum extract. Second thought, if I did that it may make the crew sick as they have got used to the extract since we shipped out.Best to leave it the way it is.
Hope Terry is looking after things.
That Mike the galley boy needs a logging and flogging when ever he gets back aboard.
Think we should demote him to ships cat.
Maybe Les B Ann could be interested in the galley boy/? job?
    Off to bronzy pool side.
    Den.

    Hi Den.
Looks like theve all jumped ship!!. Theres only Yourself , John and yours trully left. They must have found another ship with better conditions and food, whimmps.. In my day it was ships of wood and men of steel ( looking out for the flak) eat what you were given or go hungry. A cook was not a cook until he could make a 3 coarse meal out of an OXO cube.
Hope you have a good Christmas and new year, dont get too sun burnt, got to rub it in for those of them in the cold .wet winter in the northen climes.
Taffy 1eye also going for a swim in our pool, temp is now 22c with a bueatiful clear sunny sky.
