FRom what I hear the tune was not half bad, but then many a good tune played on an old fiddle and i am sure Alf has been a good fiddler over the years. Well he fiddled his way off the wheel. A big pot of lava bread stew would go down well, add a few sea shells to give it some body, and maybe a few of those weviils from Dens tab nabs. Saw them the other day and they have put quite a bit of weight on, but they were also looking a bit sleepy, think they have been in the rum essence again.

Well what can you say to that !!!. Only that your zipper is broken, youve split your Y fronts and your crown jewels have fallen out, so stop doing the press ups on the beach your senorita has gone, like your rum extract.

Den mate, if you have been keeping the rum extract with your 'crown jewels', it might just explain why at times the tab nabs have a cruddy, sweaty sort of taste. Maybe it is the essence you use? Maybe you should consider one of those roll on deoderants, you know the type, take off lid and push up bottom.

    Hi Taffy,
After reading it again, confused myself.
Should have said unused, more than safe. Same kinda thing I guess.
Enjoying our time in El Centro thank you. Lots of nice folk[mainly Canadians] Happy hour every night.
Miss being close to the sea though.
Not much going on aboard the ship these days. Have the crew jumped ship??

    Default Christmas lunch and festivities

Well lads here we are stuck in the sea lanes just outside the port of Whoop Whoop waiting for the pilot, but just heard some bad news the only pilots in this part of the world are busy flying jumbos.
But there is some good news for all. I have just spoken with the ships cook, and I use that term advisidly, who has told me of the Christmas day lunch he will prepare for us, and the days festivities. For this the officers mess will be used as he has promised they will clean it up first. The day will be one of fun and laughter, so much I think it may even bring tears to a glass eye.........

    CHRISTMAS LUNCH MENU.

    SOUP
Jellyfish Consome with Lobster shell croutons

    FISH
Goujons of Starfish served on a bed of char grilled flying fish wings.

    ENTREE
Lightly sauted Goats Eyeballs served with a Sea cucumber salad.

    MAIN
Wild Southern Ocean Cormarant slow roasted over the ships wood fired boilers, served with a WD40 jus and a green and yellow seaweed salad.

    DESSERT
Steamed Lava Bread pudding with coinage, served in a Brasso style sauce.

    CHEESE
Creme de Pied fresh from the welsh witches cavern.

    COFFEE
Served with Dens famous Tab Nabs encrusted with lightly toasted Crabs eyeballs.

Vernon has excelled with the wines and liquers.

    WINE
Vino plonko, a very robust white from the lower slopes of the Turpentine Valley
Creme do Metho a lively liquer with glowing qualities.

Queenie will be blowing in to do a personal job for those who may require it.

Les B Ann will do the dance of the six veils, sadly Den had to use the seventh to strain the weevils out of his tab nab mix.

The day will begin with Carols, and we will start with the Gayest of all, 'We Three Old Queens of Castle Line are'..................

    Morning All.
Well its nice to see the catering boys have pulled out all the stops for our Christmas fare. Not to fussed on the crabs though as i think i know where they came from. As i happened to see that lazy little @#@$%$@# of a galleyboy having a good scratch the other day. Ill also pass on the Christmas pud, saw the shore workers playing football with it. They all ended up in hospital with broken toes and legs., i had to feel sorry for one of them, the goalie threw the thing out and one of them tried to head it back to him. The paramedics are still trying to remove his head from between his shoulder blades. The thing would put Dens tabnabs to shame for its hardness and lonjevity.
Any ideas what we can use for a Christmas tree for hauling the mast.
As i havent seen any type of tree in this whoop whoop land. Maybe we could let Des loose with his kniting neddles and the ships radio aerials, he should be able to knock up something that resembles a tree and if we run a few 1000 volts through it , it might even glow in the dark.
What are the Carols like?, are they new crew members and do they do it for a song?. I hope so as ive run out of soap to barter with.

We three queens of Castle line are, one in a bunk and two in the bar, ???
