Re: Virtual Ship
Well I hope in the New Year a lot of the old Crew will be back to rejoin this once old and dilapidated Ship,it has been in Dry Dock long enough now (Since 11th March 2012),and is nearing a facelift redo,so all Crew are invited to step aboard the new Virtual Ship in the New Year.
We are scheduled to sail at 0600 hrs on the 1st January 2014 from KG5,heading for an unknown destination, but we hope to have some sort of sailing plan once we leave Port! LOL!
Please bring your old and rather tatty looking Discharge Books or Copies thereof and yourselves as tatty as you may look! LOL!otherwise you will be refused Gangplank Entry!
There will be a Master at Arms checking each one ,so no trying any funny business ! You will be put in Irons and not thrown in the Bilge, but into the Ocean to join the hungry creatures of the Sea ! Arrrgg!!me Lads!
We need as many to be there bright and early,so as to help load stores etc!
And no drinking out of the Rum Barrels whilst loading! Else! Lashes all round.
So as its the Eve of the New Year the Night before,i expect to see many here with big Headaches,Hangovers and bandages all over! You scruffy lot!
There will be a cure for all that though, just wait and see!
So for now get all the rest you can, also all the Drink you can and not forgetting the Babes!
As after rejoining be sure there will be none of that for at least 6 Months at Sea!
See you then!
Chief Bar Steward haha! Doc

Re: Virtual Ship
Yes I well remember you as chief bar steward and a grumpy one at that. Taking all the empty cans for scrap just so you could get the money for more ginger beer, look mate i told you we have more than enough of them on board without going ashore for them.
Now pull your finger out and make sure there is a suitable supply of good quality beer on board and if you see those Welsh witches tell them to stop doing Dobbie in the cauldron, the last lot of stew Dennis made was full of frothy bubbles.
As for his tab nabs, I see the rear end cannon has been cleaned and is in need of good quality shot, his tab nabs would be the perfect things to use. At close range would sink even the QE3

Re: Virtual Ship
Well John
As we wont be at Sea for Xmas and sailing on the New Year day,i will have to try and look at getting some really good Nosh in mate!
Will have to ponder on this,as the Kitty is low,and as you may recall I am a bit of a miser haha!
I still have time though to go and shoot a few Rabbits, and Pheasant, would that be acceptable haah!

Re: Virtual Ship
Shooting peasants, never knew there were any left in your part of the woods. Maybe Canberra would be a good place to start, hey tel me there are some long pigs up there who do not work so could be very tender eating.

You may all be please to know that Mike L will hopefully soon be back with us
he has not had an easy time over the past and its been a long time since he has posted!
I have had Email from him and seems after just a short rest he will be rejoining us all here!
Thumbs crossed!
This Thread I think is still holding all records ,well done Mike!
Come back soooooon@
We are now running out of Tab Nabs ,Dennis has it seems thrown in the Towel and gone Fishing! Grrrrrr!
I am still trying to hold this Virtual Ship together with some sort of motley Crew, but most all have gone walkabout!
Will have to get some help on rounding the Lads up again ,and get ready to set sail once again ,and when the Skipper is ready to again to hoist the Sails!
Lots more work to do before all that,Ship needs a good clean, food needs to be brought on board ,and there isn't a drop of Grog here either,so its all hard work before we get going@
Come on Lads I need help here !!! LOL

Re: Virtual Ship
Well since this ship first vitualy sailed we have acquired a number of new crew members on site, including some females.
Now I suggest these females be press ganged into service to do the cleaning and cooking apart from the Tab Nabs, that must be left to Den as if I recall we were selling them to China to repair the wall. As keeper of the books Vernon did we ever get any money for them?
