#17 I am 75 and the country has changed a lot since I was born something’s for the best some things for the worst. Most people are moderate the majority of the Badun’s are in the minority. By So called “goody’s “ I presume you mean do goeders such like the Salvation Army,Christian aid ,shelter, child line and other organisations who help society. In fact the people who have stuffed the country are violent anarchists who take to the streets at the drop of a hat to protest against anything they can tag onto and Loot, kill settle scores .
They are moronic thugs who should be smashed by the justice system The the country will be un stuffed.

Ignoring the childish slurs and trying not to visualise where your head is lodged please enlighten me as to the connection between those horrific horrific events and the current riots. I may have it all wrong but the perpetrator of the unbelievably awful attack in Southport was ,according to the police, born in Cardiff and mistakenly labelled on social media as an immigrant. "A woman has been arrested over the posting of inaccurate information on social media about the identity of the suspect in the Southport stabbings."
Seems like the vast majority of level headed residents have turned out to protect their neighbours from the right wing rioters.
Where does the "alien" element fit in to this scenario.

Back in the long time ago, see what living in an Aboriginal Country we took over can do to you. I sailed with quite a few Arabs from Cardiff, long before certain people where even born, no trouble, mind you we still at this time had quite a few fascist's trying to get riots started but people had better things to do with their lives, like get on with it. There have always, since man took over the world from the Apes different Waring groups, the I want what you got type and there always will be, I don't say one has to accept it, but don't destroy the country you live in at the moment, maybe some day you will move elsewhere and be on the other end of the stick.

#32 And long may it reign ,although it is mainly today symbolic it shows as a direction from which we as a nation came to be what we are today. If you are a reader and believer in history it will show the good and bad as considered by various authors. Above all it is the nearest we are going to get to the truth of our own heritage. Most dictators and despots only live their own life and are only remembered by their dark deeds , the lines of ancestory and kings and queens go back in history and preferable to me than any politician. All in my lifetime I look back on with affection. If Cromwell had of had his way he would have been our first Dictator warts and all , who wants a dictator as a rallying point. I agree with you in some way, but what is the use of the King if he does nothing to rally his people to stop these rioters destroying his country. , I know he is only a titular head but he must stand for something, let him test his authority by calling on the rioters to desist.

#38 &39 I agree with your comments on the Monarchy, however this morning he has been quoted and it is uncanny how closely his words have mirrored those of the UK PM , the Met commissioner, and some commentators .
His words are welcomed by most however and will in-still some calm. However some are saying that praising the communities that have counter protested against the far right could be considered partisan.
I don’t think his mother the late queen would have intervened in this manner she was much more canny when dealing with politicians .I hope he has not been led by the nose in this issue.

Having watched a lot of the video footage from what I see a lot of it is fuelled by Alcohol. No doubt sitting in a Wetherspoons, having an all day breakfast / brunch, possibly tired from their participation the night before in trying to Take our country back

There is a spoof video doing the rounds at the minute, made up from Live footage , it is called Gammolympics, day 4 highlights.
Has to be one of the funniest thinks I have seen yet.
There are several sports on camera. The best one for me is called the Bin Fire Curling, Two obviously pissed up plonkers a man and a woman pushing a wheelie bin that is on fire into the police lines, think the idea was to release the bin and retreat, stupid cow forgot to let go and fell at the feet of the waiting police. Has to go down as one of the easiest arrests yet. Well she has the next 20 months to think about her technique. Thankfully none of the police were injured.
Another cracker called synchronised brick throwing, brick one hits one of our freedom fighters on the head , second brick right in the nuts down he goes , another easy police arrest. plenty more sports on that video clip. I will see if I can find away to post the link.
Not a lot to fear if this is the quality of training these right wing activists are getting.

And what is the estimated population of the uk today including the illegal ones Sarah ? We grew up in times where I believe about 55 million was roughly the population of the UK. The
UK and the NHS was brought into being after the war under good guidelines and was payed or partially paid by the residents of the country not every Tom Dick and Harry, and every Teresa, Dorothy , and Henrietta taking their holidays in the Uk to have their babies free gratis. It was a shining light to the rest of the world for use of the British people , now just another bueratic blunder and bogged down with , won’t say red tape , but tape of many colours too many chiefs and not enough Indians of the red skin type and no one taking the hard steps to correct back to its early path and it’s original reason for being there. And still the charity people still send out letters to the public with begging letters , we used to pay into about 4 different charities substantial sums, in 20 days time the bank I’m with are stopping cheque books, the only advantage to
