Hi John
That is why your gooly is as big as football now, You should have behaved yourself.
Now I only ever went to the Mission every night I went ashore and had tea and tabnabs with the vicar.
Cheers
Brian.

Re: Did we really impress the Ladies?
Hi John Albert.
Like you I was up to scratch on the gear, I still use Old spice after shave and deodorant. Met a girl on the Southern Cross on the way to NZ in 57 who thought I was the bees knees that was 56 years ago. Still together enjoying life I have never looked at another woman since. Except page three of course.
Cheers Des

Dressed to the nines, on the Cape run a new suit each voyage, those kerbs in Cape Town played havoc with the knees on the pants.
