Look after those gnashers Brian. I had my 15th one out the day before yesterday and been in agony ever since.Must admit it didn't hurt whilst he took it out but it took him forever as it had a bloody great hook on the end. Me thinks a couple of large brandies are the order of the day tonight

    Default This is His Life

Brian I have the following up in the Bathroom to keep me right
Its in Scroll work and the heading is This Is His Life.
From 20 to 30- If a man lives right
Its once in the morning and Twice at night.
From 30 to 40- If he still lives right he misses a morning and sometimes at night.
From 40 to 50- Its just now and then
From 50 to 60- Its God knows when
From 60 to 70- If He"s still inclined
But dont let him kid you
    Its still in his mind!
    His sporting days are over
    His little light is out
What used to be his sex appeal
    Is now his water spout
    It used to be embarrassing
    To make the thing behave
For nearly every morning it stood and watched him shave
    But now its getting older
It sure gives him the blues
To have it dangling down his legs
And watch him clean his shoes.

When we have visitors who use that bathroom some come out with red faces, others grinning. Cheers John Sabourn

You are as old as you feel, or as old as the person you are currently feeling. Grumpiness is in the eye of the beholder, and you do not look like the grumpy type.

A little off thread. I was talking to a friend who said that he, in his mid 70s, carries out 'The elbow test' each morning. Each morning at first light he moves his elbows outward and if he does feel contact with wood either side he knows he's OK for another day.

Charlie, when I started with the maritime Jack Charlton had been made up to manager and Biilly (Sando) was the Foreman rigger, Billy Downey ended up in the M.D.H.B. as a Dock Gateman,I also ended up in the Dock Board as a Boatman. Peter.

Peter ref. your answer to P.A. which I never saw. After mentioning it was done in a bit of ire against outside reporting. I cant remember what I put on, however on looking back it has disappeared so must have been considered not to the good of the Web by one of the moderators and taken off. In case there was anything upsetting in what I said, which I cant remember, apologies. Have just found another post which to me was quite harmless by another member has also been extinguished, so posts are being examined and subjected to content. Cheers John Sabourn
