Re: Service
Hi All.
On the theme of the royal family.
The Labour Party here in Aus have just announced that if they win the next election they will call a referendum for a Republic, that's bloody great, when workers here haven't had a wage increase in ten years , young people can't afford a house to live in, and there are thousands sleeping on the streets he's worried about a Republic; what a tosser, he then wants parliament to pass a bill making it legal for same sex couples to get married, another wonderful achievement, meanwhile this once great country which is rife with corruption is going down the drain. I think I would sooner the Queen rule, or even her brace of Grandsons. And I used to be a Labour stalwart.
cheers Des

Re: Service
The first time I saw our distinguished opposition leader Des was when he was shown on newsreels skulking in the corner of the picture stirring it up when those two miners were trapped in a mine in Tasmania. He was not in politics then. Whenever I see him am reminded of the way he handled the job then. He is no politician or statesman he is a poor effigy of a union secretary and not a very good one at that. He does the Labour Party no favours someone with more standing in the community would be more appreciated. He was implicated in various acts of thuggery which went on, even though he probably never dirtied his hands. He would never get my vote on his principles alone. Cheers JWS

Re: Service
If you said thank you after every encounter with a female you would be in the civil service.
