Touch Typing.
In view of Gulliver's comments regarding silly spelling mistakes and illiterate posts on this site, "Touch Typing will cease forthwith". Members will now revert to looking at the keyboard and use the one finger method. If after this change further spelling mistakes continue to appear, then they will be deemed as being "deliberate".
Just checking for mistakes, everything seems to be OK, but now I've suddenly developed a sore finger.

Not a thing FOURO-I'm a one-finger typist myself, but that's only because I have some neuropathy in my left hand. However I think you've got to admit ,I'm a pretty mean one-fingered typist and seldom if ever make mistakes.I double check and Preview all my posts before I hit the 'Send' button . Please don't make any excuses for making typos simply because you are touch typing at speed. An accomplished result in the finished post are what matters, not a'' wpm speed testing'.
My response to your #1 was because you were being facetious in your comment deliberately mentioning my name to have a cheap dig at me for voicing my concerns about illiterate replies. Here it is:

There was no need for mentioning my name really, was there?

Re: Touch Typing.
My typing is two fingers at best, I have found the use of two fingers very useful at times, so Davey I suggest you just desist and use two fingers, if using an American type spell checker then you would only need one finger

Ivan, Re one or two fingers :I prefer to use one finger, i.e. index-finger extended and thrust into the air.It really looks more effective, and of course being a modest man who doesn't really suffer fools gladly,if at all, I only tend to show off that particular skill to my 'friends' !

Re: Touch Typing.
I have been typing for about 40/50 years, and still
use one finger. If there are any mistakes,I blame my
keyboard.
