Re: Democracy
Thank you for that enlightening comment Brian always good to hear from you.
As you have seen I do not follow, usually as a socialist I am out of step with the majority of members, but my views and opinions will not change.
John Sutton has written that stop the war coalition are lunatics. Do you agree? Should we all take to the streets and demand more war ?

Careful Ivan- those that take the 'middle of the road' route may find themselves knocked down.

Re: Democracy
I am all for Stop the War Louis.
maybe Fony Bliar should have been that keen instead of starting wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Cameron bombing Libya, and alongside Obama supplying the opposition in Syria with weapons and ammunition who turned into IS.
Also Cameron sending British Troops to Ukraine on Obama`s orders to confront the Russians.
I write to Cameron every week telling him that he is wrong. in doing things like this,.
Many British lives have been lost in these Foreign Wars that have Nothing to do with Britain.
No Louis , How many letters have you sent to Cameron?? , It is no use sitting at home drinking coffee and muttering about
the Socialist way is great and the Rest is wrong, Get up and complain to the Politicians, tell them what you think. do something. instead of being an armchair critic,
And why does a good Socialist Trot, Corbyn keep deleting my mail to him when I have asked Four Times for an explanation as to why the Labour Government CONFISCATED the Money paid by France to the Widows, families and Survivors of French Death Camps in West Africa, they never saw one penny. So which one of your Socialist Heroes has got the money, you said you dear Dad was one of them and he got Nothing. He and all the others were Robbed by your Socialist heroes, Not one of them a War Hero.
Try Writing to your lovely man Corbyn. Find out who Stole the money that belonged to the Real Heroes.
and let us know what kind of answer you get.
Your other Socialist Hero Ed Miliband also refused to answer my question after around 20 mails Who Stole The Money.
If they are Socialists, then you have chosen strange bedfellows.
Cheers
Brian

Re: Democracy
Brian if you are serious about getting a reply from a politician on any subject best send them a letter (pen to paper) for all the energy it takes sending e.mails you are wasting your time,Corbyn would receive thousands of e.mails daily,do they get read,I don't think so.
Regards.

Re: Democracy
Further to my # 201
US DEFENCE SEND WARNING TO PUTIN AS TRIDENT SUBMARINE DOCKS ON CLYDE ARMED WITH BALLISTIC MISSILES.
The USS Wyoming docked at Faslane Naval Base on the Clyde on Wednesday 16th September in an unexpected visit.
The submarine slipped into Scotland amid growing tension between the West and Russia.
Military experts claim it's a clear warning to Russian President Putin over his countrie's increasing military manoeuvers.
A senior source said "While attack submarines often visit other countries, TRIDENT submarines DO NOT".
This is a big gesture by the Americans which is certainly aimed at Putin. Russian submarine activity in the Atlantic has increased a lot in recent years.
This is a NATO show of force in response to that.
It is also understood no US submarine of WYOMING's nuclear strike activity has entered UK waters in more than a decade.

Re: Democracy
Again this is another case of Politicians who do not agree with each other putting the lives of millions of people at risk.
Obama does not like the Russians. America does not like the Russians.
WHY????
They saved thousands of American lives at Normandy as half the German army was trying to keep the Russians away.
Every US President has to try and prove himself on the International Stage. and leave himself in the History Books,
Brian.

Re: Democracy
Brian, both are as bad as each other.
RAF have released info., that an intercepted Russian Bear aircraft, which was trying to enter UK airspace, was actually in the process of arming its nuclear device. Apparently this is the second time the Russian have been caught arming their devices by the RAF.
The devices that the Bears carry are specifically designed to destroy our nuclear subs, and Putin doesn't trust his fly boys with his cruise missiles, just incase they defect.

Vic
