I see Jeremy has to become a member of the Privy Council where he will have to kneel before the Queen. Will he do it.

Re: Democracy
Mcdonnell has been criticised (and rightly so) for his support of th,IRA. Not much been said about Corbyn's support for terrorist organisations, such as the IRA and Hammer. Hammas.
Both organisations are beyond contempt.

Re: Democracy
Hi Louis.
I fully appreciate what happened to your father and all the other seafarers in WW2 and the same happened to my relatives in those days. being sunk, spending a long time in lifeboats and then being picked up by the enemy.
. I believe the French Prison camps and the treatment they received in West Africa were far worse than the German ones.
After the War France paid the British Labour Government a large sum of money to be given to the families and survivors of their Prison camps.
That money was never given out and it disappeared. Who got it,?? no one will tell.
I have been campaigning to Ed Miliband for a long time to let us know what happened to the money that was in care of the Labour Government.
Ed Miliband totally ignored every mail I sent to his FACEBOOK page. He must have received at least 20 emails on the subject.
here is an example I just copied from his Face Book.
............................. To Ed Miliband, FACEBOOK.
Brian Aspinall
How the mighty has fallen. serves Labour right, for CONFISCATING the money off the Survivors of the French Death Camps in West Africa and refusing to say who has it, these brave men fought the very people who persecuted your family and killed your grandfather and you ignored their request for Justice, If that is what a Labour Government does then you do not deserve to be in Government. I now hope that Labour goes the way of the Lib Dems, and If that Andy Burnham gets elected as leader, then it is good bye to democracy.

Brian Aspinall.
Here is also the treatment of the British LABOUR PARTY Governments treatment of the survivors,.....Compensation Confiscated
The crew of the `CRITON` received far worse treatment than any other British prisoners of the Vichy French, and was imprisoned longer than other MN prisoners in West Africa. After the war the French government made an ex gratia payment to the British government in compensation, but did not apologise.
To add insult to injury, the British Labour Government of the day kept the money, and the exceedingly poor treatment of the crew of the CRITON conveniently forgotten. Like the Japanese, the Vichy French withheld medicines, Red Cross parcels, clothing and footwear, leaving them rotting in the sun."" But worse was the LABOUR GOVERNMENT WHO CONFISCATED THE SURVIVORS MONEY, THAT IS STEALING" SO WHAT KIND OF GOVERNMENT DOES THAT. Maybe it is a good job you resigned Ed.
.......................
So Louis,
can you get onto your new hero Corbyn.. and ask him , WHAT HAPPENED TO THE COMPENSATION CONFISCATED BY THE LABOUR GOVERNMENT. The last LABOUR Leader refused to answer.
Cheers
Brian

Re: Democracy
Hi Louis, this happened after the war when it was revealed that the French severely mistreated the British PoWs. Some were taken through the jungle and across the desert to Timbuktu in Chad and they died there, there is a cemetery with British Merchant Seamen`s graves there, now being looked after by the CWWGC.
As I have said the French were worse than the Germans in the treatment of British Seamen. Refusing medication and Red Cross food parcels etc, leaving them to rot instead of giving them out to the Prisoners.
and people wonder why I do not like the French.
But after the war a large amount of money in reparation was given to the Labour Government to distribute to the survivors, widows and families. None was given the Labour Government confiscated it,
I have been trying for a long time to find out where the money went. and who has got it. No one will tell us.
That is why I do not vote for Labour until I get a satisfactory answer.
Cheers
Brian

Re: Democracy
Hi Louis, see J.GORDON MUNFORD`S PAGE on Google.. Type in SS CRITON WW2.
this is part of it.......................
.
see The Man from Timbuctoo

So that is why I have been trying to find what those Labour berstereds did with the money for the Widows and survivors.

Re: Democracy
I will always be a Labour man because of the past, not the recent years.
The socialists gave us the N.H.S., opposed by the Tories, they established the welfare state and ended the misery and poverty of the workhouses.
They took up arms and joined the International Brigade to fight fascism in Spain.
Many of you will disagree with this but to my mind Socialism and Christianity are one.

##that is what democracy is about each to make his own decision ...the only prob is......some will try to use force ie germany italy japan various countries in africa russia.....and of course the main ones at the minute swamping us with what we have fought to build for generations....my fight in this country is the people have voted .......but the unions which are getting weaker and weaker say because theydont agrre will stop the country moving forward ....lead by a man so left putin would put him down.......we have a democracy second to none .....beware of what we have we dont lose....this currrent situation will only see the demise of the labour party in a short length of time.......that is absolutely inevitable.....i think i will not participate in the democracy blog any more the end is shortly to be seen there is not a man of standing amongst the whole sorry mess of them......regards cappy
