These same MPs have the audacity to talk about the drink problem among young people. My bloody oath,give me the youngsters any day. The large majority of them are as good as gold. I speak from experience as a Foster Carer for a lot of years.

some time ago, i think on the old site, i said that if an MP lost his seat(constituency) he was out, but if he was out he was allowed to go to another seat and get voted in again. this was so that if he was the PM or shadow PM he was still in. i said then that any MP must reside in that constituency for at least five years. this would stop MP's flitting from one nest to another and they would be more inclined to serve the place they lived in.

I agree Alf, but here in Oz they are supposed to live in the electorate but there are afew who do not. But all they have to do is stand for three concecutive election, win the firts two kicked out on the third and get the pension. What a bloodt rort this is, we have to work until 65.
