    Hi Terry ~ consider this

Weston Super Mare: Reasonable sized town with new housing estates springing up all over the place. Population 83,000. Summer population well over 150,000. FACT: They are closing our police station. Already the custody suite has been moved 5 miles away. The "front desk" is being relocated to the town hall. In 5 months the whole station is being vacated. The town hall has just had a £10million refit at a time when they are cutting services willy-nilly mind you. They even added an extra floor for staff plus gave them all new desks and computers to play with. So now they have also closed some of the public libraries and opened up a new one in the town hall. So now the main foyer of the town hall will be frequented by benefit claimants, people wanting library books, social services and every one who might otherwise visit the local nick. How longer I wonder before they realise what they have done and close down the town hall to make that a call center only? Oh and mean while crime will rocket because the police, who are being reduced in number, will be spending time driving backwards and forwards to a police station outside the town, ferrying criminals outside the town and generally being stopped from what we need them to be doing! Am I moaning or complaining? ~ wtf the point!

That is right Tony , `Wtf the point`
Cameron just gave the Al Quada and Taliban backed Rebels in Syria £12,000,000 of OUR Money but we have to have the cutbacks. A couple of weeks before, HAGUE gave them £5,000,000 of OUR Money for military equipment.
    I despair.

    Default VOTE LABOUR:

Not much difference between modern parties: Traditionally would have few schools , NHS etc.

Forget politics, go for Lords or Commons.

If you have made a few bob, keep your true values - turning colour now to save an investment suits the tories, given time they will take it away.

You need to visit Westminster to make up your mind truly, a tour would tell you looks after whom:

Suprisingly the Lords favour the Lords and big business, the commons though traditinally, still are the best bet for Common folk.

Your vote, your say? Should be: Who voted for this Coalition ?

Hi shipmates Hi Captain Kong, as you are well aware, of what the Government are trying to do, They are at this time like a small time bookmaker at royal ascot trying to back a winner off the big players in the ring ,they have only layed out small amounts of our money!!! so far £12,000,000 to £5,000, 000 in the hope of a Mega windfall for our arms industry and a few other big business companys' it may happen /// a big shot of mega rich arab oil money they have many millions to spend to keep the arab spring alive ,this would sort out all the governments cash flow probelms in a very short time , {No Cuts}" happy days are here again " they would sing, and that would make them look very good in the house of commons. shouts of record exports, full employment , would be hear for many months in the house of commons and across the land and the media would have a great time.{ Single malt makes you say some stange things} cheers!!!

Now Tony #91, they closed the police station, that must mean one of two things crime is about gone in that part of the world, or it is so bad the cops have given up! This sort of thing is happeneing every where, we have had police stations closed here in Oz, but we have had some new ones built. Our local ivory tower, oops, sorry, town hall , is home to the faceless men and women who tell us they have things under control!!!
The fcat remains the world in general is going to hell in a hand basket and most govs do not know waht to do. Our state gove is attempting to introduce a policy of zero tollerance but has the opposition and the do good brigade saying that is a breach of civil rights. What about the rights of the honest person?
But not to worry as on December 21st Nebo, a planet about the size of Earth is to hit us, but to be on the safe side do not make any plans until after the 22nd in case they got it wrong.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

I worked out long ago how to determine when things where going to get worse for me. Whenever you see them building new offices and recruiting consultants you know that there is going to be a cut back in blue collar workers. When ever I was told that I needed to accept change I new that it was my position that was about to change. Same with every thing else be it private sector of public they are going to make sure that the top brass gets the lions share at the expense of the lower class on the pretext of helping the lower class. I have to laugh now at all those idiots that classified themselves as middle class and used to touch the forelock at the upper class thinking that they where going to slither in with them. They now find that they have sunk back with the masses down here. They still think the sun shines out of the back sides of Con and libs and they my friends are the ones that put the bar stewards in power to the extent that even the so called Lab party is just as bad now. A big thank you to those idiots thinking above their station.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.
