That does show you that its all the way to the top with Drugs suppliers.
From Customs departments right through to Shipping Agents and corrupt police, and also the unmentionable (The Judges), something has always told me when you get close to the top thats what you will strike.
Casino,s are a top Dry cleaning site for drug money, Millions can be cashed and converted to Gambling chips and then back to so called clean money.
Decent good Policemen have been murdered, Idealistic Politicians also have been murdered one being a few years ago in the Griffith drug Belt area in NSW Australia.
Drugs are even in Jails, so who,s bringing them in , is it the (Screws), Drugs and the money with it strikes fear into the hearts of those who want to erradicate it but its masters are all too powerful.
the only way as Ive said in Past posts is to threaten the first with his life and then get the second and so forth until you realy get an insight into who realy is the top dog in this filthy Racket.
Legalising it is one way with dealing with it but at the end of the day it is still there and the Controllers are still in charge as well as the cultivators oversea,s.
Corruption is so indept know that even Politically you and I are being fooled each and every day with the blame shifted onto yes you the people. It is so cunningly worked out that in reality there is probably an Elite society Group that you will never get near and yet they control.
Look at the hold the Tobacco Companies had even on govts because of loaded contributions to their Party.
It took a lot of guts over here to fight them now cigarette smoking has gone down to very low levels now, we have all the Green Packets with pictures of your guts hanging out with cancer diseases, no matter what people say its worked, and the Cigarette companies admit it now, their hold on Australians through addiction is a lot less now due to one determined Prime minister we had.
Drugs are the scourge of the World the Malaysians have the answer, the rope or the firing Squad.
The Mr bigs of this world have been laughing at us and have little or no regard for human life.
You will find now even on the streets the first one is free then when you need a fix you pay.
We all need to do our duty and if by chance you happen to see or hear of transactions with drugs , go and talk to the police.

Believe certain drugs have been legalized in Holland. Anyhow no need to worry the EU will decide for the UK given time. I see one of the States has today also legalized marijuana. I do not agree with legalizing any drugs. But hey it doesn't matter what the populance thinks, the EU will make the ruling judgement before long, just another example of the stupid decisions made by previous and present day politicians. JS

You may be surprised to learn that recreational drugs are illegal in the Netherlands. Yes, even pot. But an official policy of tolerance emerged and in 1976 the Dutch parliament decriminalized possession of less than 5 grams of cannabis. That gave rise to a type of establishment found only in this country. In hundreds of "coffee shops" across the country -- not to be confused with "cafes" where you, in fact, go for coffee -- you can select from a menu of cannabis products and light up in full view indoors or at a sidewalk table.
It is the crowded, cloudy coffee shops that give Amsterdam its unmistakable summer aroma.
The city is also home to countless seed shops, a hash and marijuana museum, and other businesses aimed at extracting cash from the peculiarly happy drug tourists.
Things got a little complicated in 2008, when the Netherlands, as other countries, imposed restrictions on smoking in public places. A great battle ensued as coffee shop owners complained the ban would put them out of business. Dutch compromising ensued. So, today, you cannot smoke in most public establishments, but you can still smoke marijuana in a coffee shop.
All non-medical drugs, to be clear, are illegal. But there are two categories. Cannabis and some types of "recreational mushrooms" are in a separate class; still illegal, but largely tolerated. The most powerful type of "magic mushrooms," containing psilocybin, were made illegal in 2008, but authorities say they will not prosecute anyone holding very small quantities. Hashish is also in a gray area, up to each municipality to decide.
Not everyone likes this openness. Weed tourism is controversial in some circles and there are worries that lax laws attract more than just the tattoos and scraggly beard crowd, encouraging drug traffickers to enter the market.
Weed aficionados across parts of the world panicked a couple of years ago when a conservative government announced plans to stem drug tourism, partly as a result of friction with neighboring countries. Under the new rules, coffee shops would issue membership cards, Weed Passes, only to local residents. Foreigners would not be able to come to the Netherlands to get high.
But, as coffee shop owners admit, it's not the Dutch who are lighting up. Ninety percent of the customers getting buzzed in Amsterdam are foreigners. Amsterdam authorities complained the plan would take a huge financial toll, as millions of visitors every year inhale the offerings of coffee shop menus.
After a very Dutch debate on the pros and cons of the plan, the government rewrote the law, leaving it up to each city to decide on the rules. Amsterdam scrapped it, while Maastricht, on the border with Germany and Belgium, left the ban in place and imposed fines on coffee shop owners defying the ban on pot sales to foreigners.
So, to recap: No cigarette smoking in public; yes to pot in small quantities, but not in Maastricht, and mushrooms are OK in very small quantities.

Drugs/Tobacco... As an ex smoker I accept the results of any ill health that I may or may not suffer in later life. As a compulsive smoker when I had this habit, I may have said at times I would kill for a cigarette, it appears re drugs however people do kill for a fix. Tobacco is not illegal, just too expensive for some. I also respect the right for any smoker to continue with his habit if he so desires, he is already made to feel like a pariah, but as said tobacco is not illegal. Most Eastern countries you will see no decline in people smoking. These same countries have the death penalty for drug carriage and selling. When people start shouting and screaming about the death penalty for such, I have no sympathy with, they were aware of the consequences, I believe in capital punishment anyway and have no sympathy for those caught breaking the law receiving such.JS

John P p6, agree with you.
Funny story about methadone; some years ago i was very early in my chemist to get something & there were two young men getting this what looked like prune juice in paper cups from her, anyway being the idiot I am I said "I'll have one of those"nothing was said he just looked at me. Then when they left she said "do you not know what that is?" Me "no, what was it? " She, "it is methadone" I really felt like a right idiot but it brought the hard drug scene home to me with a bang as that was a ritzy area. Yep know no boundaries.

When my late wife was in the later stages of her disease , we had bottles of Oramorph in the cupboard , as well as a slow release morphine sulphate tablet , I took a large quantity to the Pharmacy for disposal after her death . She hated taking it , as she hallucinated on it more than once , but it stopped the pain . I avoid the local chemist due to the queues at 9 AM , they go into a little side room for their dose , they are also cloned , an ex army greatcoat , easier for shoplifting , un cut , uncombed hair and stubble beard and often a dog . I felt like having a Bacon Roll for lunch one Sunday as I was eating in the evening , so called into the local Co-op , next to the closed Chemist , No Bacon , I asked ho there was no bacon , the manager told me that as they did not get their shot on a Sunday morning they had the Munchies and cleared the Co-op's shelves of anything they ould slip into the smelly coat . The staff were briefed not to tackle them , because of Health and Safety
