Understand your views on not legalising drugs Rob. I on the other hand have an apposing view. If legalised and manufactured under strict conditions would it not stamp out all those backyard places that are doing it with all sorts of ingredients thus making them a lethal mix. Not only that it should mean proper employment for those in the manufacturing of said drugs. There will still be overuse and deaths but then that is natures way of letting you know that one has overdone it. As with all and I mean ALL drugs there are those that can handle them and there are those that can not. How many on site know of someone that has lived to a right old age and was smoking up till their death along with a few snorts of grog. I do think that there is a real strong case towards legalising it all. As for the country being inundated with drug addled people seeking them sounds like a furphy to me. If legal and at a cheaper price than the street price surely the cost savings from seeking out suppliers would ofset the cost of the product.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

I have a close family member who graduated through weed via Skunk to Heroin and then to smack , and now is clean for over nine years , so I will say that I just don't see the scum , who grow , ship , and market this crap , rolling over and going away , they can undercut the prices of synthetic manufacture . But the drugs trail is progressive as the efficacy reduced with tolerance , as they get used to it , they progress upwards , Legalise Cannabis , the pushers will push Skunk , legalise Skunk the pushers will Push Heroin , and so on , the Meth-amphetamines produced World Wide lie waiting in the wings , Where will legalisation stop , Two pints of lager and a needle of Heroin barman please . Les we are all entitled to an opinion , I cannot agree with legalisation , I have walked the walk with someone , and had heart break over it ,Round up the dealers , traffickers and suppliers I will personally put the rope around their neck and pull the trapdoor handle . I have seen the human misery that it causes

Rob Page your correct, Now after reading all of the Posts including my own about this terrible situation with drug addicted people and suppliers running free, do you not think its time for everyone and thats (everyone) to write or send ann emaim name and address provided, to your Political Member in your Area.
demand harsher penalties for anyone dealing in Drugs, and the Harder the drug more Jailtime.
Ice is now the big problem here, its a Violent drug and Ambulance Paramedics are sick of dealing with overdosed druggo,s who are Violent. hospital Caualty Departments doctors and Nurses are also sick of the situation. Its time for the Population to get up the Parliamentarians noses and get things done.
The police have virtually got their hands tied round their backs because of Do_Gooders Laws, this has too stop
Very Harsh Penalties should be implemented post haste.
The time for doing nothing and just making Comment is over.
The Safety of your Neighbourhood, and the safety of Older retired people getting beaten up in their homes is unforgivable.
Idont care a rats about any rights for Druggo,s or drug suppliers, if they choose to pump their veins with Heroin, eat Ice and every other evil mix made up by home grown Labs who make the stuff then lets help them step into the next World with the aid of a Rope or fire-ing Squad, it will have results im telling you great results. When the Judge starts putting on that Black hat these people will know truly that their days of Ruining peoples lives are over.
The Jails for druggos should be just a round Building very high with no windows and no cells, with a Helicoptor dropping a pallett of food down once a month the Prisoners responsible for sharing the food out. no need for Wardens the walls will be too high ans covered in Sump oil, no escape.

Just looking at the present set up with drugs and it is pathetic the way it is being policed. The problem with bringing in more laws against it and locking up more people (which is a joke today) is it pushes the price higher and thus we have ended up with a catch 22 situation. Not only the price goes up but the quality comes down that anyone with a back yard shed can now support their family with a bit of creative chemistry. Not to mention the increase in crime to fund their habits. As for putting the rope around their necks and pulling the trap door would mean a fight between ourselves as to who is going to pull the handle. The worst part is that there are so many within the legal and political lobby that have a finger in this trade and it is these people that are using the anti legalising arguments to further their wealth. Here in Oz there are busts being done all the time and not minor ones which makes one think are they being busted because they have encroached upon the big boys turf and as such force the competitors out of the scene. No matter how much is destroyed or how many are arrested it has not had one iota of difference in trade. My personal view is that the anti legalising body is supporting the big boys and until it can all be controlled this will continue as well as get worse. Going to be so many more families affected by this trade while we dither. History tells us that prohibition never works. But getting in there and controlling it does. Must clarify that the only drug of choice for myself is alcohol and that is getting less. Have also gone down the path of one of them getting into the heavy **** which resulted in the fact that I kicked them out as my view was that if they where going to hell in a basket then they where not taking the family with them. Got to say that it took a few years but seems that all is back to normal and lesson learnt. Seen to many and heard of many more family's that have gone under trying to support a fecking drug addict. Think that this is the problem that emotions are being used in the debate instead of logic.
That's the way the mop flops.

My logic is drugs kill , they have a reducing efficacy therefore a proportion of users go for stronger and stronger , the men at the top are billionaires , and those at the bottom walking corpses . I live near a large estate and see the addicts daily , empty eyed , wasted , empty rotting shells . My logic is all drugs from Stout to Skunk , from hand rolling tobacco to heroin are addictive and fatal if abused . The pushers and suppliers work on the addicts failings and the addicts commit petty crime to support themselves above their benefits . The pushers get richer the addicts get sicker , that is my logic , I lost the emotions about it all ten years ago .

We have a few Australians awaiting execution in a Jail in Indonesia, they dont appear to be sorry for smuggling a lot of kilograms of Heroin, one has found the lord, i guess he,ll lose him if he gets a reducement of his sentence from Death to life in Jail, When i hear of Old people getting beaten up by Druggos because they need money to get a fix i dont feel sorry for any of them.
