we will never get anywhere until we vote for one party only. any party that has not been elected before. greens, ukip, bnp, or even flower power. the three main parties are absolutely useless. get Cameron, clegg and milliband out!!

Re: Is This The Sign Of Things To Come
Under the last Labour Government in their wisdom they decided that Police could hand out cautions rather than take people to Court, its was far easier for the Police, less paperwork etc.
Until we bring back tougher sentencing for crime then harden feral youth will just carry on with what come natural to them as there is no deterrent.
So now the Police can report crime is falling, but it isn't as more cautions are handed out.
When I worked in the Magistrates Court, Solictors held meetings with Senior Court Clerk because their business was falling off because of the cautions.

Re: Is This The Sign Of Things To Come
I had a good think about Terry's original post , I believe that youngsters locally fall into four categories , the Employed , poorly paid and working across seven days a week , in need of a Union probably ,
have a Grandson who works unskilled in a local factory , long hours dirty conditions , before this job , he was a temp and sorted refuse out at the local tip for very low wages , now he has bought his own car he and his girlfriend are saving to buy a house , and neither are in well paid jobs ,
Those who would like a job , but one to suit them , and because it is not £30,000 a year or suits their degree in sports Journalism , because there is one job for every five thousand graduates . Why should they labour for poor conditions , zero hour contracts and minimum wage . Some will do part time courses and claim benefits , one I know is over forty and a part time student , he wants to be a musician , for the last twenty five years he has not been able to get a musicians job , but is yet to take the hint
Those who want apprenticeships , to learn a skill , and there are not the craft apprenticeships about , some local training companies are taking a real advantage of some of these lads , and they are getting little experience , whilst the agency gets well paid , the training is poor , the lads lose interest , and cannot get a non existent job at the end , I feel gutted for them , because they are a pawn in the hands of greedy agencies
And then a small minority who claim benefits like their father and mother claimed benefits , A lot of these locally are incapacitated from an early age with Bi-Polar , I am convinced that the Skunk they smoke contributed to the Bi Polar . If they went for a job they are unemployable , these need help , and the jobs they could do are now done by Eastern Europeans .
We need a shake up , not of the Eastern Europeans but of our systems

Re: Is This The Sign Of Things To Come
In Reference to the Drug Problem, It is indeed the suppliers that need to be caught and a few Mr Bigs as well.
Instead of the shocking soft approach to the Drug Problem of which nearly a whole generation of kids are lost to it. When a Supplier is aprehended then he should be taken out to an isolated area and beaten until he tell you where the next one up the Ladder is, this process will ensure that eventually youll get pretty close to the Mr Bigs of the drug World. there is no other way, its way past being gentle with these people. The Streets have become unsafe purely because of the Drug Problem, Druggo,s will Beat up old people, burgle houses simply to get money for more drugs.
Get on top of this situation and have a Zero Tolerance approach beat the living daylites out of a drug arrest until they tell you where they got it from and so on until you get to the top.

The other choice is to just legalize it and the Drug Lords are out of business straight away. Make it known that those with drug problems will be at the back of the queue regarding hospitalization. If they want to continue and kill themselves let them go ahead. Could at the same time legalize euthanasia. Cheers John S.
