    Hi Lewis.
It's been along long time since they discovered that field at the back of a maternity school with all those baby's buried there, what is taking so long to discover who was behind it? Are they waiting until all who could be charged are dead do you think?

Des it is disgusting what took place here. I am sure in other countries as well. But the hold churches held over the people of this Island from all faiths was and in some cases still wield over others was ridiculous. Here in the North we still have a segment of the population still not capable of thinking for themselves.
Right up to the 1960's if a girl fell pregnant and was from a so called religious family pressure would be applied from father Ted or some other holy Joe from the other side of the fence, oh the shame you have brought to your family you have to have that baby adopted and we will take care of that. The poor girl would be put in a home for unmarried mothers have the baby and it would be taken away from her. Often the child would be basically sold to some wealthy family in a far of land USA Canada etc! or sent to the colonies.
Home Children was the child migration scheme founded by Annie MacPherson in 1869, under which more than 100,000 children were sent from the United Kingdom to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa. The programme was largely discontinued in the 1930s, but not entirely terminated until the 1970s. Later research, beginning in the 1980s, exposed abuse and hardships of the relocated children.

Churches here have a lot to answer for. I was watching a programme last night on UTV . They were interviewing the former Irish president Mary McAleese about her early childhood all the way through to her term as President she did 14 years as President, what a wonderful lady. What her and her family went through during the troubles here was horrendous. Anyway she was talking about the parish priest and an incident that involved her mother. Her mother was 38 at the time and had just had a bad time delivering a baby and it was thought best that she have a hysterectomy. The parish priest went mental with her and told her as she was still of child bearing age it was a sin to have a hysterectomy. Being a good Catholic family her Mother & Father were distraught about what to do. Anyway she went through with it but the doctor who she was under was another dickhead influenced by the church refused to have anything to do with it and sent her to another doctor of a different faith and the sinful deed was done. This was Ireland in the 1970's. Concerning the murdered babies no church here has gone all the way to offer an apology for murdering babies born outside of wed lock. Hypocritical bastards.Queen&Mary.jpg Mary McAleese a truly amazing woman.

#28 The Presbyterian church called a meeting to decide what to do about the squirrel infestation. After much prayer and consideration , they concluded that the squirrels were predestined to be there, and they should not interfere with Gods divine will.
At the Baptist church the squirrels had taken an interest in the baptistry , the deacons met and decided to put a waterslide on the baptistry and let the squirrels drown themselves . The squirrels liked the slide and unfortuanetly , knew instinctively how to swim, so twice as many squirrels showed up the following week.
The Lutheran church decided that they were not in a position to harm any of Gods creatures , so they humanely trapped their squirrels and set them free near the Baptist church. Two weeks later the squirrels were back when the Baptists took down the waterslide.
The Episcopolians tried a much more unique path by setting out pans of whiskey around their church in an effort to kill the squirrels with alcohol poisoning. They sadly learned how much damage a band of drunk squirrels can do.
But the Catholic church came up with a more creative strategy , they baptised all the squirrels and made them members of the church . Now they only see them at Christmas and Easter.
Not much was heard from the Jewish Synagogue . They took the first squirrel and circumcised him. They havent seen a squirrel since JS

the catholic church baptised the red squirrel because he is indiginous to this country, and they became good citizens its the grey squirrel because he being a illegal immigrant to this country and does not know how to act is the one that causes all the trouble and is responsible for the dearth of our red squirrel population.
thats why we are devoted to our red squirrel,

I didn’t want to bring any colour prejudice into it Tom, I was trying to be PC. Now like Eddie McGuire you have blotted your copy book and are being sacked from your local football club if you have one. So the salary that goes with it goes also , so you’ll have to work overtime on your other tv career. Cheers JS

i have heard the story many times over the years, and indeed your outrage is one that is felt by most catholics today
especially in light of the acts of depravity carried out in the name of the catholic faith, by priests whom in my opinion should pay a price that reflects the damage they have committed to their young and old parishioners over the years.
but these so called priests are not acting in my name nor in fact for the majority of catholics.
