I see that in the Xmas period and with the benign weather, there has been quite a few immigrants crossing the channel in small boats, we don't know how many did not make it of course, and we won't until the bodies start to wash up. Again, it does not help when we take them in, it just fuels the process. The only way to halt it, is to return them back to France, that was the only way it was halted in Greece, kt

Keith, watching the news on tv I cannot understand why the immigrants are rescued by the French, then handed over to the UK. If the French rescued them, take them back to France.

I also read that Vic, rescued by French ship, and passed on to our customs launch. i also read that the French were also stopping some of them and returning them. This open borders is just crazy, and the invasion will not stop until they see sense. There is big money being made supplying these boats in France, surely that can be tracked back there ??, kt

IS IS announced a while ago that they are sending their operatives over to UK as immigrants.
So why are they being allowed into our country>?? everyone is a moo slam, soon another attack.#
The french encourage them to get to UK as they want to get rid of them.

The Home Secretary has now classed this as a major incident, perhaps it may lead to a deterrent in keeping these people from coming at all? There is immediate need to stop it becoming such a desirable and lucrative destination full stop.

i must be pretty thick, because how by increasing the cutters in the channel, detecting these craft, picking them up from the cold, bringing them on board, wrapping them in blankets, then bringing them to their destination HERE, how is that a disincentive ?, its mission accomplished for them. I would think in France they could detect who are buying all these boats and outboards ?. All that we are doing is encouraging them to attempt that crossing, kt

I bet there are not many people on a pension in the UK who could afford to buy boats like that to cruise across to France, some big money being spent there for what?
