The migrants and the smuggling gangs seem to think as soon as they step onto British soil or a ship they have reached the promised land no matter how they arrive or how many laws they break getting here. There is still one Iranian living here the only one of the hostage takers from the siege of the Iranian Embassy in the 70's. In fact he is probably retired with a nice old age pension and a bungalow by the sea. There was a whole plane load of Afghans and their families who hijacked a plane armed with guns and grenades and insisted they be flown to the U.K. I wonder whether they chose the delights of one of our many cities or a more tranquil countryside to settle down in. The one that takes the prize this year for sheer gall has got to be the Nigerians who hijacked the Grimaldi ship last week. They threaten 19 ships crew with iron bars and demand to be dropped off nearer to the coast, I am only surprised they did not call an Uber taxi on their mobiles to wait on the shore to take them to a local branch of the benefits office. That also says a lot for the courage of the Grimaldi ships crew. I could never imagine 19 crew in our days hiding on the bridge and shouting for help because 4 blokes were threatening them with violence??? As all ready mentioned until more drastic procedures are put in place things will continue as they are now. I have said before you can not blame these people from coming you should blame the government for letting them in.

The Home Secretary has been called back from a family holiday to get to grips with this situation, The first thing he has to do is withdraw the ships that are picking them up not increase them all that is doing is encouraging more of them to chance it harsh as it is there is no room in the inn Terry.

#42 I have just watched the BBC news with a reporter talking to the Home Secretary who said that some things are out of his control like the middle east crisis that was the main problem. Well that maybe so BUT these people are crossing the length of Europe to get here and then the English channel to arrive on the south coast where you have LOST control of our borders and if you can not do something about that you are not up to the job. This interview was then followed by the reporter talking to some idiot representing a pro immigrant organisation saying that these poor souls are refugees and should be treated as such until proven otherwise. Which had me shouting at the T.V. No they are not refugees they are ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS until proven otherwise.
