According to the UK minister for defence said in news today Ukraine has all but won the war.
One hopes this is the case and from some news footage it does appear Russia is losing a lot of tanks and other armament.

But looking at the cities so far destroyed one must ask the question, what is he after?

Some now razed to the ground and for what.

He is now demanding that any country still getting gas from Russia must now pay in Roubles not the dollar.
Sanctions are begining to work it would seem.

Petrol prices falling quite sharply here as the price of oil continues to fall.
Two weeks ago it was at about $125 a barrel with fuel at over $2 a liter.
Oil now down to $100 with petrol as low as $1.70

One dollar on a barrel is worth one cent at the bowser.

Hi Thomas.
Thanks for that post, I don't like war, and I think the one taking place was so unnecessary, now that the meeting in Switzerland the Ukraine delegation is coming out with what they are prepared to do, which would have prevented Russia's phobia of NATO from escalating.
Like you I hate all the lies that were bandied about Syria without proof, untill the White helmets were caught gassing their own. It's getting worse with everyone on Facebook now a journalist.

We all have to get our information from somewhere, and it the end it comes down to what we believe. All wars are terrible, and caused by politicians at large, however, what the world cannot allow is any one despot to just invade another country without being opposed, hitler being a good example. We can all sit back, say not to get involved, until one day its us on the hit list. I have to ask, here did you acquire the information on Syria ?, something i had not heard of.

john 393 here in the uk we have any amount of shale gas but because a few people said no it was scrapped now look were we are we were promise the north sea would give us all we need for years to come we sold it of?? nobody could see what has happened but it has and we got court with our pants down. we have now gone back to an island on our own and should look after ourselves ? regards ukraine its a thing that has been coming for years russia did not like its empire breaking up and take away their black sea fleet their standing in being a world power has depleted by a long shot. its when the troops go home then the truth will come out putin is not going to last long in power he has took russia back a lot of years he is a crackpot as well as a despot a very bad makeup for a leader ?jp

In Ukraine i can only believe the live reporters, who are risking their own lives to bring that news to us. There has also been footage of a Russian armoured vehicle which swerves across the road to run over a civilian car, and the driver incredibly survives. Footage also of a guy getting out of his car, hands in the air, and still shot dead. So i have to rely on that type of news, and all news reporters are reporting similar situations.

good morning, i have read your posts, and i have also liked and noted them at the time, and like you i tend not to believe the absolute and down right misleading woke rubbish that comes from the left which dominates every section of our news and is generally misinformed and twisted until it resembles a palatable format which suits the narrative of the left, for the consumption of their believers.
i do not sneer or belittle at other peoples beliefs as you could as well as others believe im totally wrong and of unsound mind.
but i first heard of the story of the white helmets by the french journalist vanessa beely in 2017 when she gave a viewing of her documentary made for RT news yes the russian tv station,( to the swiss press club in geneva,) and it showed exactly what the white helmets where doing, and whom they where financed by, she was of course denounced by the left wing vertue signallers that are so prominent in all walks of life, from the movie stars and the woke liberate, she was called a stooge and much worse by the very establishment whom where financing the white helmets, whom where america the uk the european union en-bloc and as stated every other liberal in the western world.
but she was able to show that the white helmets whom where first organised by a british operative called james le mesurier and financed accordingly, and that they where responsible for the supposed gas attacks and bombings they stated where being done by the russians, when in truth the white helmets where staging and filming the set with women and children in make-up, like a stage set for a real movie, and in fact there was no gas used in the mock-up bombings.
these findings where backed up by a hearing in the hague which produced the findings i have just wrote about and these facts can be sought out on the internet,

Google White Hemets, they are not a paramilitary organisation.
They work at rescuing and giving aid to those injured on both sides of Syrian divide. So I find the acqusations that they are involved in illegal military operations far fetched.
The OPCW is based in Holland and its full title is Organisation for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons..

good afternoon, sadly the truth is that the white helmets where a creation of james le mesurer working for the british goverment and whom was subsequently murdered in istanbul in 2019. and vanessa beely the french journalist made a documentary of the white helmets actually carrying, out fake gas attacks and bombings, as i stated the documentary was shown at the swiss press club in geneva on the 21st febuary 2017 showing exactly what i have wrote about and naming james le mesurier as the man whom formed them,
the white helmets where the true opposition of assad, financed by america the uk and the eu,and where responsible for the fake gas attacks ,
