Re: ne £5 note
There seems to be a trait of bloody idiots looking for something to wave a banner about, we need to bring back a bit of reality to this world. When we have small children it is our duty as parents to protect them from themselves, however when these people grow into adults it is not our duty to protect them from themselves, so let's stand back and let them have their head and get in the sh@@. The nanny state should cease, I,m sick to death of hearing all their protests, kt

It has also been revealed the new £10 notes, which come into circulation next year, and new polymer £20 notes, due to be released by 2020, are likely to be manufactured in the same way.

Re: ne £5 note
The crazy thing about all of this is thta animal fats are in so many products now. Many of the breads and cereals contain a portion of it, clothing uses some animal extracts in the process, but best of all for the vegetarians, I doubt they realise that blood and bone, made from animal waste is used extensively by the vegetable producers on the land.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: ne £5 note
There are hundreds of everyday things containing animal by products from plywood to condoms, even car tyres contain animal by products. Instead of acting to appease these people , they should be ridiculed, or give them something real to moan about, kt
