Re: EU and our PM.
The following is a good example of Government Economics.... Question. If you had 6 chooks on the bottom perch, six on the middle perch, and six on the top perch, how many chooks would you own?
Answer six.
The other 12 are on higher perches. JS

Re: EU and our PM.
John #76, you make the valid point about the unelected running the EU. It is not a democratic organisation as democracy calls for rule by the people of the people for the people. The EU is more akin to a autocratic dictatorship and at the end of all this if UK stays France and Germany will take all they can and UK will only get what is left. Scaremongering is a passion of all politicians when they want you to think the way they do, but at the end of the day it will be a matter of, 'I'm alright Jack pull up the drawbridge' for them.
Interesting bit on the net about the global tax scandal. A leading Australian lawyer who specializes in tax evasion says that the current situation is quite legal, it was tax avoidance not evasion.

Re: EU and our PM.
As regards that 9.5 million quid flyer that is going tobe delivered to every home how can that be democratic giving one side to the story,Cameron had no right todo this.If tax payers money was tobe spent on such a leaflet the leaflet should've been in two parts with an equal number of pages for the IN and OUT the public would then have had the chance to way up the pros and cons of the situation.

Re: EU and our PM.
Hi Terry,
The Conservatives are no different than your Labour MPs and ex PMs.
They are ALL bent and corrupt, so it is a waste of time criticising one side without the other.
,
How much Tax avoidance is Bliar and Brown doing??? all legal of course just the same as the Cameron family have done, all legal.
But Labour had 13 years to stop it and change the rules, it didn't and they make the most of it. Cameron's Gov also has had 6 years to do it and of course has not done it .
So why just condemn one side, CONDEMN them both or forget it.
They are ALL the same. politicians. The only good ones are in the cemetery's, out of harms way. Cannot do any more damage.

I to will be returning my leaflet back to no.10 along with my questionnaire requesting what he intends to do should the vote to stay in wins about
1. Reforming and limiting the powers of the EU Commissioners
2. Reforming the common agriculture and fisheries policies to give the U.K. at least a level playing field and regain control over our waters and land.
3. Allowing us as a nation to decide what if any assistance we can give to our industries such as steel and ship building/ship owning, without the need to ask permission from Europe.
4. On immigration, how to stop the influx of and the dilution of our heritage (Christian) by person of a religion whose sole aim appears to be to take us back to the dark ages and destroy our religious heritage.
Doubt I will get an answer but you never know.

Re: EU and our PM.
John he lost what credibility if he ever had any when he didn't fulfil his obligation to the voters when he didn't have a referendum on first gaining power. He has since meandered his way through parliament from one tragedy to another. Not a leader of anything apart from maybe MacArthurs Ragtime Band, even then would probably be playing from the wrong sheet music, another wasted space. However when the Queen gives him his Knighthood I hope she doesn't forget and say I name you Sir Wasted Space. JS

Brian, I wouldn't argue with you over that in fact i agree they all have there noses in the trough but as P.M. With such a record like his demanding a big crackdown on big buck company's tax avoidance over and over, Afraid when M.P.s are back in Westminster next week he is in for a rough ride, He constantly calls for transparency and doing the right thing like every hard working man and woman in the country { Pay your dues } Today the press have found another off shore account connected to his father.
What happens if he has capital gains from this one because the media wont give up digging until they find what they and a lot of others suspect, I am not siding with any other party here i simply made the point that the rich get richer and just like that poor young girl who has lost her car and possibly shattered her dreams because the Tory party see austerity a better way of bringing down the deficit, While the most wealthiest in the U.K. Get tax breaks, Cameron could become that transparent.......................... He will disappear never to be seen again Regards Terry.

Re: EU and our PM.
Parliament will ask questions of cameron as to his fathers estate, nothing to do with them ,but it looks good in the press. Of course theyw ill not press too hard in case it comes to light that some of them are in on this as well. Changes to the law could have been made, but no gov is going to make changes that may effect them in the long run. Tax havens ahve been arouind since cocky was in the egg and i do not see any chaneg any time soon. We have the same issues here in Oz.
