    Tom Cruise
    Matt Damon
    George Clooney
    Leonardo diCaprio

and Robert DiNero and Jack Nicholson for the two old Ferts (sp.?)...is that the way the Limeys spell it?

Madonna said she will play it in drag if we let her sing while they drill.

Also safe deposit boxes are normally just as safe as the insurance companies small print, if not safer. As I said before having a safe deposit box doesn't make you a crook, lots of people have safe deposit boxes for documents that need to be kept safe or confidential, which they not always are when in a home or office, maybe because of such mundane reasons as fire or flood. But envy will always see evil where none exists and you don't have to be rich or a capitalist to have a safe deposit box, they are available in your local Bank for a few quid a year. That's all from me on the subject.

    Jeeze Red,

I've walked into a buzz saw The cast is threatening to quit before I've written the screen play. Everyone wants top billing and be the Leader of the Gang.

Is it possible the crown jewels could be in the strong boxes, could the tower have had a power failure or something and the jewels were stashed in the boxes? Does a Norman Fortress have electric power?

Madonna refuses to sign unless she can do a song and dance wearing the crown and twirling the scepter. Tom (Cruise) wants them to do a big escape scene all wearing jet packs. Tom (Hanks) wants a car chase through London. He's never done a car chase, rocket ships to the moon yeah, but not cars....I got it Babe...a combo, half with jet packs, half in cars, we'll have Madonna crown and scepter in the jet pack escape, she can flash her knickers and we'll get an "R" rating... good box office.

Look buddy, we may need you for a pre-production meeting, I got two favors to ask. We'll book your ticket, but you can't fly British Air, sorry but the money people would have a fit...American Airlines, Okay? You know "Be American, buy American.

The second one is kinda awkward. It's your handle (a.k.a.) Red Leg Pete, we may not be able to get you a temporary work permit as technical advisor with "Red" (don't worry you'll get billing) ...Red's a kinda touchy color man. Green would be O'kay, we're all on a green kick over here. If not is it O'kay to call you Lead. It makes it easy for the director if we run into authenticity problems, you know we want to make it as real as we usually do. All he's got to do is shout "Get the Lead out!"

    Hold your breath, Rod

#24, My dear Rodney, First of all you have to get the Celeb's name right! It's Red Lead Ted/Terry. Very important when his name is in lights.
Don't fancy Tom Cruise much....and really think we should have more "Brits" as they are always the bad guys. How about Sean for another old geezer, though I warn you he can only do one accent. Madonna is too old and a Diva by all accounts....... and the guys really need to concentrate. Think there were seven in all so still short. Maybe a few on site will oblige? Then of course there's Scotland Yard [Doc think he's tall so a bobby on the beat?] to consider and the bank manager and all those diamond merchants. I'd like a cameo please, non speaking part if possible selling the big issue [homeless magazine] in the back ground. Judith wants a flower stall and then peg leg Mary propping up a doorway....though not sure how well she would go down in the States. Perhaps film in UK, just my thoughts so far.

    Narion (whoever),

Sorry sweatheart, we don't shoot foreign movies, we'd loose money with overseas markets, foreign accents don't work, unless it's some 19th century bodice ripper by Charlotte,; Emily; Anne—one of those Bronte babes. That's Englands Shctick, they like French books and authors.

So, here's looking at you kid.

    Red... oops! no Rod.

Ref. the colour scenario Rodney, does that mean that on US ships the old rule of the road saying " When two lights you see ahead starboard your helm and show your Red", is taboo, can see now when any two US ships involved in a collision is the first question they ask which sidelight could you see. The one who says Red is dead meat. Cheers JS

As for Margaret, not quite the clean potato.....Certainly would not have curtsied before her!
A friend of mine here was working as a winger in a well known west end restaurant in the 50's, one where her and Cpt Townsend often went. According to him she was not the sweet young maiden often portrayed.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

very true ivan .....i find in general that we all find insurance very expensive andsome items not being in synch with there value re insurance.....a bank deposit box is a less expensive way of keeping things for future generations like terrys grandson and his liverpool icon......ok it gets lost in the london carry on but the chances are a lot less than keeping them at home......and then after a burgalry fighting the insurance co ...regards cappy

Cappy, I agree with both you and Ivan, But I don't see any queue outside Scotland Yard, Wanting to reclaim the goodies, As far as safety deposit boxes goes, I could name you a lot of survivors of Nazi concentration camps, That would dearly love to get into a few of there's,
