I just posted this and it vanished so here we go again.I cant remember the figure now but it is four or six hard boiled eggs that you cannot eat without a drink. Some time ago we were having this discussion in the pub,say the figure is six eggs,we were saying that nobody could eat six boiled eggs without a drink. This guy was adamant he would do it no problem, one of the lads went home and hard boiled six eggs. This guy attempted it and I think he may have got to as far as four,he couldn't eat another one his mouth was just completely bunged up.Try that at home for a Christmas party trick.

Hi shipmates. my wifes uncle was on one of those? he was the one with the big sword and the horned helmet, he was the ships expert on pillage, he became a docker ashore {foreman} if the Cargo was not nailed down he had it. once a viking allways a viking. A great film.

#####aye your right jim.....giving me age away now ......but talking about eggs always reminds me of years ago looking for factory space in leeds......a bloke rang up and said his factory making sausages was closing down and if i would like to view to come at 12 30 as the staff would be on lunch ...i duly arrived and wandered onto the factory floor .......there was a row of massive sized mincing machines and large trays of pork all uncovered .....i walked up to one of the mincing machines and discovered they were crawling with king sized blubottles.......and the odd maggot or ten ......the floor size was good for me .....the boss man came out and we had a chat ....the staff returned and the mincers were turned on.blubottles and all .....after sailing as 2nd steward on tramps in the 50s and 60s...i never turned a hair .....after a discussion on price etc ......iwas turning to go away when he shouted have these 4 dozen sausages ......never looking a gift horse in the mouth i took them.......and on the way back to my factory i stopped and gave them to a bloke who always owed me money he was so pleased he even gave me a cheque which didnt bounce which was a change......loking at the sossies he asked what was the black bits ....again i thought of my 2nd steward days vand quick as a flash i told him they were black peppercorns for flavour he was impressed ......and so i went on my way .......happily may i say .......regards cappy
