Re: learners
hi des #6
good afternoon, i wouldnt trust them to respect my corpse, as its bad enough trying to get treatment from them, on top of that they might just stick parts of you ontop or about one of these rainbow warriors whom are screaming for their human rights.
but the best one ive seen lately was on youtube and it was a irishman and his family and friends where all standing at the grave when loud bangs where heard and the dead man can be heard asking to be let out of the box as its dark and freezing down there, He had made a tape recording before he died, the crowd and family where laughing their heads off, now thats the way to do it. Reminds me of spike milligans headstone where he states ( i told you i was ill )

Re: learners
Some years ago, I was in Ireland for a cousins funeral. All very solemn, until his watch went off in the coffin, playing some loud, weird sounds. Panic ensued until the battery ran out. Someone had given it to him for Christmas some days before and insisted he be buried with it. The priest was a bit miffed due to it taking so long to stop.

Anyhow have been and done all the modern things like going through Uni which was Newcastle uni. And the three of them are all up there living ,and working as the girls didn’t like living in London and the boy likes the NE beer. The 3 of them were born and bred in Yorkshire so apparently they have moved back to their family roots. So Newcastle must still be booming like I remember it down the Bigg market. Are you getting fumigated before the burial as hear that Tyne and Wear are very strict these days. Cheers JS
still very busy John, plenty bars and restaurants but drink is getting expensive, especially on Quayside. Tuesday nights were student nights so cheaper, Am back to dental hospital next week so will check out with my student dentist.

Re: learners
In the 1960s can remember going to that dental hospital as was home on leave and was only place could get treatment , my wife was very squeamish in those days and when I came out still had traces of blood around the lips. She passed out on the pavement fainted no bother on seeing me. These 3 Andy Capps types came rushing at me from 3 different directions and I thought they were going to mug me . They were 3 police officers in mufti watching the hospital for suspected drug trafficking . They insisted we carry her back into the hospital I tried to stop them as as said when she comes round and sees where she is she will just pass out again , sure enough it was like a comedy show kept coming to and passing out again. She’s a bit tougher these days and doesn’t like reminding how frail she once was. Cheers JS

I went to that old one back in seventies, but they built a new one next to RVI, sometime in 80s or early 90s, cant recall; I still rememberthat old place tho, with old style cage type lift, wooden staircases etc. Current one is modern and up to date despite being 30+ years old?
