You can on an Indian crew ship, the untouchable sweeper upperer. The ship I was on he just slept in whichever alleyway he chose. Never complained and no one else pointed out his circumstances . JS

Last time in London looking at was once the Port of London.
Now no more, an airport and many other new aspects.

But there was a time when there was no where like it, the sounds, smells, action, noise.
Sadly all now in just our memory, but what memories they are, we were indeed the lucky ones.

#26. Des it is on top of this old Liverpool pub facing Canada dock, The Dominion Dock Rd /Regent Rdliverpool_l20_dominion.jpgliverpool_l20_dominion3.jpgliverpool_l20_dominion2.jpg

Many people thought it was a boy looking out to sea , it is as you can see a Lumber Jack, I think they used the Canada dock in years gone by for discharging timber which would fit the theme.

Where is the dockers umbrella? It was the overhead railway to be precise. Frank Greenfield. Discharge book R545192.
