I vaguely remember some crew members finding they had Mobile Dandruft, and remedy was those old fashioned kerosene Flit Guns that had a little tank on the end and they pumped the Handle to operate the flit gun, I did tell one member to pour whisky on them so theyd get the itchy things drunk and they kill each other. So who ever they managed to impress ashore gave them a farewell present to remember them by. There certainly was some very exotic things to collect in many of the ports. all the best Glenn

#51. Glen, Think the cure was called Blue Ointment carried in the the Medical Locker. There again may only be half right in which case your testicles may drop off if you use. Its a toss up with the Flit gun. Some would just keep scratching. Cheers John Sabourn PS Its when they get to the eyebrows you start worrying. JS

Hi Shipmates, In Far off places we were exotic to the locals, but we were as posted before, well understood with our simple needs, and free spending habits...

I did ask one of our Gentleman crew members, who had unforunately got landed with an exotic desease, i said to him were you paraleticly inebriated when you met the Lady who was suitably impressed with you and invited you home for a (Cup of Coffee) did you think she was very beautiful in your inebriated state. And were the Words I dont do this for everyone ever mentioned.
