He did "Double your Money " years before . There were two rival Quiz shows , " Take your Pick" with Michael Miles , where you selected a box and won the prize on the card oin the box , or took an offer on it from Michael Miles , Or Hughie Green , every Question doubled the Prize money . Miles show you could win a car , caravan or boat as the top prize , I think Hughie Green with double your money , was his show , I think he started it on Radio Luxembourg , top prize was £1000

I actually preferred some of the older shows , this modern trend for reallity TV I just cannot stand , especially when the TV producers take ten out of work entertainers and lock them together in a House/Jungle/Island for two weeks with a camera crew . The one that really irritates me though is teh Jeremy Kyle Show , when a drug fuelled single mother of several damaged children insists that the drunken layabout appearing with her is the no good father aof at least one of her brats . They do the DNA test , Jeremy says " he is not the Father" , the Girl looks blank and says " well I wonder how that happened ". They pay them to appear , give them advice , tell them taking drugs and sleeping in till one in the afternoon is bad , when what they ned is sobering up , a wash and a job !

What about the reality show where the show's host's go in to people's filthy homes and clean them for them, all on the basis that they need instructions on how to keep a clean home. What retard with half a brain would allow cameras into these conditions knowing that it's being broadcast nationwide. Of course, the people to blame are the show producers for paying these people to appear AND the retards that actually watch the show and add to it's ratings value. Here in the U.S. it's nothing but this type of trash being offered up in the name of entertainment and followed closely by the identical copycat shows, only with a different name. And worst still, the public soak it up. But, as the saying goes, "God Bless the United States of America", geeza brek, LMFAO !!!

Thanks Red, you just gave me my daily laugh, and yeah, maybe you should get out more. I remembered the tune but not the lyrics. What about the "Yes - No" gong on the Michael Miles show, what was the show called? No need to sing it....just gimme the name. LOL.
