Indeed a sad Day for the Queen's and i do mean the Ships not other Queen's!
But as said the Red Ensign will still fly on them,albeit the Flags having a Badge of Bermuda on them!

I have a lovely photo of Queen Mary 2's Red Ensign, taken by my parents who just returned from a trip to the 'homeland'. Wanted to upload it here but it won't upload for some unknown reason. It's JPG format and 3.49 MB. Anyone have any ideas?

Jacyn you need to put it into MS Paint and reduce the size. Digital cameras always produce a high definition picture of around 3 ~ 3.5 mb. It needs to be about 150kb. If you upload it at that size the site will automatically reduce it again to an acceptable size for the server. The limitations imposed by the site are so that Brian can maintain a reasonable bandwidth and keep his costs down which is understandable as he pays for it all.

Hope that makes sense and look forward to seeing the finished article.

P&O still fly the Red Duster on ships sailing out of Oz ports. Princess line also fly it but with a badge in one corner from the port of registry. Quite common now with a number of companies to do this .

The reason Cunard are reflagging is so they are unable to hold weddings on board at present, after this they can do so. If you really believe this, i have a nice car for sale!!!! Money is at the back of all arguments. Keith Tindell

The name of the Port of Registry, SOUTHAMPTON will be painted out and HAMILTON will be in its place, so it is not just a badge on a red ensign.
On the old QUEEN MARY, in Long Beach, they fly the US ensign but the name Liverpool is still on the stern.
I have been on it several times, twice this year, and am going back for four days in January, she is still the best ship in the world. and well worth a visit. A Stateroom for two is only £78 a night. cheap.

Yes I agree, a petition is a good idea, what have we got to lose?, the last Petition worked.
