The Queens
R235941 Many will have seen the pictures in the papers of the three QUEENS in Southampton; an excellent picture of what should have been the pride of the British Merchant Navy but now all three no longer fly the Red Ensign and the crews are no longer mainly British seamen. This is the sorry state of the MN today, will it ever recover, I have my doubts, would appreciate comments. AJ Harvey

the queens
nothing would suprise me John, especially after reading about the security company and who they employed on no wages, as a trial for Olympics security, only told them they were not getting paid when they were half way to London on a coach, where do these fly by night companies come from ? and they entrust them with the biggest event for years, nothing of value is UK owned any more, the Chinese recently aquired Weetabix, am afraid Cunard is a distant memory, same as our once proud Merchant Navy. i cant imagine Germany ever selling Mercedese Benz.
