Re: ante covid vaccination
Victoria, don't worry; the jab is a long way off, the messiah in Canberra spent most of 2020 saying he had signed up for billions of doses, the very first to do so, now he is not sure what he signed, could have been for a load of Canadian Salmon, I don't think we will see the jabs this side of Oct.
PS. Got a email from the head of Woolworth's telling me that all their stores you now have to wear a mask, and that includes the staff, I just went up there for a loaf, I was the only one wearing a mask and that included the staff, these messages being bandied around are more confusing than Britain during the war with all the signs taken down.

Re: ante covid vaccination
Des, it is official vaccination will begin in March with all health workers first then from 100 down, so sorry mate at your young age you may have to wait a while.
But Des, we had a total lock down for almost 16 weeks, then 62 days without an infection, now we have 20 or so new cases.
Maybe get the bread delivered??

Re: ante covid vaccination
No John, that was some of the ladies in 'Monties' in Sydney.
But good news, our PM has announced that vaccinations will begin mid February, initially for health and aged care workers and residents of aged care facilities.
Then they will begin on others by begining of March starting with all over 70.
But this si not quite what it sounds like, here we have the gov being clever, makes them look good by bringing it forward.

Re: ante covid vaccination
It is obvious that the Messiah was pushed into changing the times for the injections, two cases of the new strain now in Aus, one in Queensland, so far, one in Victoria. Many of the people coming back have been overseas for years, have had their kids there and bought houses, they just want to get out of the UK; good for them but bad for us.

Re: ante covid vaccination
Just announced here in Melbourne.
A person in the hotel quarantine fiasco here in Melbourne that caused us a 16 week lock down is claimed by health authorities to have had the UK variance of the virus.
Now one worker in Queensland has been diagnosed with it.

Re: ante covid vaccination
We are due to have our backyard fence fumigated for spiders on monday and am going out to a funeral that day. There will be a lot of shaking of hands. Do you think I should get the fumigation guy to spray my hands . If his spray kills red back spiders theyll kill anything. Just joking of course . Its a bit hot for gloves though. JS
