    If you think that John try switching to the black stuff , Guinness , i got the taste for it years ago , would,nt drink any thing else in a pub , not super cold though , as they seem to like it these days ,joe. Especially out of a bucket .

    I had a black and tan in Mable's at Liverpool years ago Joe it was made from draught Guinness and pale ale, I got the worst guts ache ever , never touched it since, JF

    The way its going that would be next year , we painted all the wood work in a matt finish paint but didnt like it , so we bought silk finish , but it seems to be reacting , and its like painting with nivea ceam , once that has dried its ok but its taking soooo long , i would nip out for that pint, if it wasnt for the fierce one standing over me , joe okay dear .

    I didn't want gloss paint indoors either, the two I liked was eggshell it's a better finish than matt, the other one was satin
    that had a little bit more sheen to it they are both a nice finish, JF
