When working on a ship in Singapore and Malaysia in 2009 the old salt tablets had been replaced by rehydration fluid , similar to Gatorade , but was a powder you stirred into cold water , had all the salt , minerals etc ,that you needed

Re: Time and tide..............
Well after reading all these Posts I think I am a bit wiser to all this old age palava! LOL!
My Doctor gave me Norvasc tabs yesterday to start with but said after my Blood Test on Monday he may change them,so will see what transpires!
Yes Capt as you say I feel 100% and had it not been for a letter I got on Thursday last for the Bone Scan,I still would have not known that my Blood Pressure was so high!
I used to as said take Karvea each Day for many Years, but at one stage about 6 Years ago, while on my daily walk I started to actually feel light headed and seemed to want to walk sideways, this did alarm me and I went to see my then Doctor! He took my pressure and it was extremely low!
This prompted him to tell me to stay off the Karvea!
After a few days I was right as rain again, the pressure was back to normal 130/80 so from then on I just never bothered starting to take the Karvea !
But as it is now a little over three Years since seeing any Doctor at all well what can I expect haha!
I am not at all eating any salt (well just in the things that may contain salt) I eat well,do walk a bit,but not as much as I used to after my Heart Op,possible that may be the answer, start the rigorous Waliking again!
Thank to all !
Cheers
Its nice to be of a good age,but Oh! the problems that go with it LOL!

HI Jim B
Hospitals make mistakes, you stole someone else's blood platelets or they belonged to the tearoom, as long as you are OK the main thing.
