as you know lads, i go into hospital a lot. last time three weeks ago for strong antibiotics via drip feed as tablets not strong enough. this to try and heal the site of my amputated toe still not healed after two years. strange to say, it seems they only attend to what you went in for. i had two nose bleeds, no one interested. they were even reluctant to dress my foot, as i went in for antibiotics. i still think it is the best hospital service ever.not so the GP service, who have finally put the repeat prescription service on line; something i suggested to the doctor 12 years ago. you still have to take prescriptions to the surgery. you are not allowed to fax them. i am now going diving in the hyperbaric chamber (a pretend submarine) to try and cure the long running abcess on my foot, this for a total of forty visits of two hours per day not including preparation, plus an ambulance each way for the forty days.

Worcestershire Acute Hostpital NHS Trust. The hostpital was hit by scandal in December when the trust paid out more than £40.000 in compensation to the families of 38 patients who were neglected including one man who starved to death. One woman went unwashed for three months, while some patients were forced to lie in their excrement.

    .
In Bolton Royal after an operation after being injured in the Antarctic, I had no food or drink for three days, I complained and the Nurse gave me a half cup of cold tea in a dirty cup, from an immigrants bedside that he had been drinking, `Thats all there is,`she said.
I unplugged myself, got dressed and walked out, 20 minutes later I was back, I got hit by a speeding car when walking home. Got the same Nurse again.
