Re: England v Denmark
i AM SO GLAD i AM NOT A FOOTBALL FAN
I dont have to wear daft clothing,
I dont have to paint my face.
I dont have to jump up and down
I dont have to wave my arms around
I dont have to scream and shout
I dont have to pay money to stand in the middle of a crowd who do
They must have extremely Boring lives to get so exited over a person kicking a ball.
I will be enjoying myself, sat in my cave with a bottle of single Malt, listening to good ole CW from Nashville,
Cheers
Brian

Re: England v Denmark
Rugby union has changed in recent years because of several rule modifications and the 1995 advent of professionalism. Trends in rugby union injury epidemiology include: higher incidence of injury than other team sports, an apparent increase in injury risk in professional and amateur games since the advent of professionalism, reduction in injury incidence with decreasing age and competitive level, significantly higher incidence of injuries during matches compared with training, and a high proportion of tackle injuries. The commonest high-risk injury sites are the shoulder, knee, thigh, ankle, and head. Although injury research publications have increased since 1995, studies investigating risk factors for specific high-risk injuries (including nonfatal catastrophic injury) and to assess the effects of discrete prevention strategies need prioritizing.

Re: England v Denmark
Some years back we had problems here in Oz with local soccer fans.
Mainly Croatian and Serbian causing a lot of problems.
Letting off flares at the match was one off the biggest problems.
But when the soccer officials said matches without fans or no matches the attitude slowly changed, no problems now and the league does well.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

You must have been watching the Arial ping pong when you were living in Victoria, Grown men hugging and kissing because one of them kicked the ball I couldn't see anything in it to watch , the same as I don't watch the thugs that play Rugby League in NSW. I would sooner go down the local field and watch the kids playing, that's enjoyment for kids before they become the same.
