No Toilet Rolls, Get yours free ?

There’s one thing Les anyone with toilet rolls will not die intestate. Just think of all the Hangers on at the reading of the will seeing whose going to get the toilet rolls. We had a break in last week, fortuanetley the burglar alarm scared him off after he had smashed his way in through a window. He only got 3 pair of cufflinks of which he dropped 3 odd ones worth in total about 15 dollars on his haste to get out. I forgot to check the toilet roll in the en suite , so am not sure if that’s what he was after.. The police found out what they think was his car burnt out about 3 miles away..Not a very lucrative day for him, if he tries again and I’m in this time , he won’t be walking out again. Cheers JS. PS kids growing up today have no need to ask their parents what they want for a present, as the answer will probably be, oh! Just a toilet roll will do. This generation will always be known as the toilet roll generation, what a thing to live with , the future trauma they may have to undergo will keep doctors in that professional sphere busy for years to come. I have been reading some frightening things in the newspapers. This Virus is sounding the deathnell of Capitalism, many journalists are saying it and they should know!!!Where else do you get the Govt taking control of wages, and industry begging the Govt for some money to keep going, even rugby League out here wanting the Govt to pay them, as their $Million payments look to be in jeopardy. Govt control by stealth, what next troops on the streets, ****! they are. we have troops walking around armed to the teeth peering into people gardens, unless they are looking for the odd toilet roll were in trouble.

well we go into lockdown here in NSW real soon. Just hope that the hospitals are ramping up their staff for the huge influx of patients in the maternity ward in nine months time. No worries Vic got an **** washer attached to the toilet a while back so good foresight on this little black ducks behalf. Saw a good skit on Facebook with a bloke walking around one of our shopping centers with a piece of carboard two square meters hanging by string LOL. See that the authorities are having problems with keeping people of the beach's. Personal view is? If I get it then that is it but as said before not going to get into panic mode over it.

Thanks to selfish, ignorant people not bothering to socially distance
themselves, the most isolated and vulnerable in society just got a
lot more isolated and vulnerable.

Chris #70, yes all of those conditions are on our list here, but the bit about pregnant females is different.
Here our mediocs are saying that for some unknown reason pregnant women and children up to the age of about 14 appear to be immune form it.

No one is saying it is not bad, but there is now the question being raised here by a few that it should be left to run.
The greater majority would get over it in a few days with little or no side effects, leaving the medical profession to deal with the genuine serious cases.

One of the problems at present is the pressure being put on the system by many who are not sick demanding the test for no valid reason.

We are now in almost total lock down, but some of the new rules are very misleading.
We must observe the four square meter rule, that is people should keep that distance from each other.
Fine, but there is a problem.
Public transport still operates, trains 400 to a carriage, trams 140 each , buses with 80 on board.
With rules such as this in place little wonder some are very cynical about it all.

With this the G. Orwell comments do have a bit of a place.

Talk of road blocks to stop people going on holiday, school ones begin this week, will do nothing to ease the situation.
People will take so much then they jack up, no sports of any kind until end of May does not help.

Even talk of closing some caravan parks even though there are permanent residents in some ??

It is indeed a very odd situation.

You appear unable to accept that this virus is effecting different people and different parts of the world in different manners.

Just announced tonight that of the 1,711 cases here in Oz only 1.3% are with children under 14, a total of 22.
Only 7 deaths.

I note well that all the reports you posts are from media outlets, the figures quoted here are from the Chief Australian medical officer, NOT THE BLOODY MEDIA
