Re: Scottish Order of Templars.
When they get round to the warnings on every bottle containing alcohol like they do cigarettes " warning alcohol can damage your health" thens the time to sell your shares.
And not drink them.
Cappy you got the transvestite don't worry about it, it's legal today. Not like some of these film stars being sued after young women throwing themselves at them 60 years ago. Big bruv knows. See you in court. Kampi .

Re: Scottish Order of Templars.
certainly Whitbread as part of the InBev , now Anhauser - Busch group used to take residual alcohol levels by reverse osmosis off beer , this was used to reduce taxation , this was then used in Alco-pops , it is a common practice , so yes it is produced as spirit as a by product and remarketed in a different guise .

Re: Scottish Order of Templars.
A wee bit o' history aboot JAMESON'S Whiskey.
Around 1780, John Stein of Kennetpans owned two of the largest distilleries in Dublin.
John Jameson, originally from Alloa in Scotland, was related to the Steins through marriage.
John Jameson moved his family to Dublin where he later became general manager at Stein's Bow Street distillery in Dublin, before eventually taking full ownership and renaming the distillery John Jameson and Son. Jameson's son William took over Stein's other Dublin distillery.
To this day John Jameson and Son is the leading Irish whiskey brand.
So the Scots not only gave the Irish their Patron Saint but also gave them there leading whiskey brand spelled with an E.
Fouro.

Re: Scottish Order of Templars.
Scots gave the Irish their Patron Saint , have you been having a wee dram Fouro lol. Saint Patrick was a Welsh fella. As to the Scots, they learn't the art of distilling whiskey from our lot. 20171015_143807.jpgBushmills. I have this in my collection, it is 400th anniversary bottling. Bushmills have been producing whiskey since 1608. Silky smooth as most Irish whiskey is triple distilled unlike it's scottish inferior whiskies that are only distilled twice.
But each tothere own, no such thing as a bad whiskey just some better than others.

Re: Scottish Order of Templars.
Them Norse-Gaels got everywere Marian. That's where Cappys great great great great great grandad came from. There was a program on TV the other night here where they took 8 well known personages here, took their DNA and 2 of the 8 had worked together for years and it turned out they were related. They also gave what percentage of each of the 8 had as regards diffferent forms of nationality there forefathers had such as 48 percent British, 27 percent Scottish, 25 per cent Scandavian. Ain't science wonderful ??? They didn't say how much it would cost to have your own background taken. I know mine is English Irish Scottish and Welsh, with a dash of Scandanavian, had at one time hoped I was the lost great great grandson of the shipowner who has the Seabourne Lines, hasn't come to claim me yet , but still live in hope of claiming my birthright. Mary Queen of Scots was a washout, by aunt must have been telling fibs when she used to write to Ted Heath. Cheers JWS. PS Think Brian Kongs is about 98 per cent French. That'll get him going. Je suis joking Brian or as the French say jocking. JS
