    By the way Vic
Capt Kong has a travel Camera Panasonic Lumix, its not an SLR but those small Cameras have a very good write up and with the Leica Lens stands above quite a few others!
Not sure of his Model but could be something like the tz60 or above .

My Daughter has just bought a TZ70 for her upcoming trip to the UK!

I have a question that you may know about will post it later,as its Sat. Morning here and I am off on my normal jaunt.
    Cheers

It is possible that dust as got on the sensor, even on a compact, it does happen. Jessops camera shop can arrange for it to be cleaned.
The other possibility is that the lens has been contaminated with dust, again Jessops can arrange for it to be cleaned.

It is quite possible it is dust. I have had it for about six years now, I just keep it in my pocket on my travels , I do not have a cover or bag for it, it just goes as is into the pocket.
That Jessops idea seems to be a good one. I will try them when I next go to town.

I agree it must or may be dust, but you would think that the small digital Camers would have some sort of dust protection, wonder how it actually gets in! They are sealed units!

    Hi Vernon,
Maybe I should just get a case for the camera, to protect it.

Hi Doc, they aren't sealed units, dust can get in via the telephoto lens, the battery compartment.
