    Hi Rodney
I found this about Valerie Jowett............on google
    .
The father, grandfather and father-in-law of President Barack Obama's senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were under investigation by the FBI for alleged Communist ties during the 1950s, according to new documents obtained by Judicial Watch.

Jarrett's dad, Dr. James Bowman, a pathologist and geneticist, had "extensive ties to Communist associations and individuals," reports Judicial Watch, citing his lengthy FBI file obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

"In 1950 Bowman was in communication with a paid Soviet agent named Alfred Stern, who fled to Prague after getting charged with espionage. Bowman was also a member of a Communist-sympathizing group called the Association of Internes and Medical Students," according to Judicial Watch.

Following his discharge from the Army Medical Corps, Bowman then moved to Iran for work, which is where Jarrett was born.

Bowman's government files describe the Association of Internes and Medical Students as an organization that "has long been a faithful follower of the Communist Party line" and engages in unpatriotic activities.

"Bowman was born in Washington D.C. and had deep ties to Chicago, where he often collaborated with fellow Communists," Judicial Watch says, going on to describe documents from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management that show that the "FBI was brought in to investigate him for his membership in a group that 'follows the communist party line.'"

Separate FBI files obtained by the conservative government watchdog group document how Jarrett's father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, was reportedly a Communist Party member working as a saboteur at various newspapers in Chicago. He was eventually fired from one of those papers for his Communist activities.

He also allegedly wrote propaganda for Communist front groups in Chicago, like the Progressive Party, which would "disseminate the Communist Party line among ... the middle class," Judicial Watch said. In the event of a conflict with the USSR, Vernon Jarrett, who was on the FBI's Security Index for a period of time, would've been arrested.

According to one confidential informant Judicial Watch spoke to, in 1946 at a Communist Party meeting, Vernon Jarrett was instructed by the party to get a member elected in Chicago's Second Ward.

Captain. It is such utter ultra right wing crap I didn't waste time or space including that in my answer. If you connect to the link I gave on my answer to Ivan you can see that included in the 'Snopes' response. 'Snopes' by the way, is not attached to any political viewpoint it's sole function is to verify b.s. presented as fact. Snopes enjoys a 98% accuracy rating.

'Snopes' dumps on the Democrats equally when someone tries to spread a falsehood about Republicans. Like I say they have no axe to grind.

The parents were in Iran during the reign of Shah Mohammad Reza Parlavi. Communism was against the law in Iran...It still is under the current Republic of Iran. There is no way a communist American professor would be let into the country let alone teach at Shiraz University. Their is no way a dedicated and open communist can teach in school in the U.S.. No university would accept him. I draw your attention again to my post to Ivan, to my example of a British Nazi being part of 10 Downing St.'s staff for seven years and you or the general public are unaware of it. Gimme a break, p...leeze!

By the way I lived in Iran for almost four years during the late Shah's reign and a week of the new regime (I left Tehran the day before Khomene (sp?) arrived from Paris).

If I didn't have so much respect for the British. I'm sure I could find sites on the web. dedicated to spreading manure to simpletons, and play the old game "haha...gotcha Rodney!"

Those who visited America during the McCarthy era and for years after will well remember the Red under the Bed mentality. For any country who declare they are practicing Democracy then outlaw a political party says a lot. Its a pity they cant get a bit of backbone now and outlaw religious partys with political and traitoruous ambitions. The same goes for any country engaged in the import of such. With the western worlds morals went a lot of other things which kept people of a like mind together. Cappys Mr. Mainwaring is not so funny when one considers the future through gross neglect. JS

One thing that is glaringly obvious is peoples attitude towards the death penalty. It is quite acceptable to go for a target with a result of either dead or alive, I would say preferably dead. And yet there are still so many against the Death Penalty being administered by a court of law. I see no reason why should have been done away with, surely people don't think that is a sign of progress. There are people languishing in gaol today who have no right to be on this earth, in fact it is an admonition that they should even be buried, they should of been burned and their ashes scattered in the nearest cattle yard. HI Brian.
Breaking news here that 160 people were killed in Paris, most in the theatre, French authorities confirm they have killed the terrorists.
I wonder if Angela Merkels is now waking up to what she has let loose on Europe, though I doubt those terrorists in Paris have just arrived. Sweden now talking about closing their border, and calling on Britain to take more refugees, after what has happened in Paris I think that will be a big no no at least from the present Govt.
Cappy. I agree about the clown they have voted in as head of Labour I watched him on TV. I was a Labour supporter out here for a long time, but like your new labour hierarchy they are now all professional idiots who would be better off picking their nose.
    Cheers Des
