Cappy without trying to betray too many confidences my mother 5ft 1 inch in her high heels with an indominable Scottish talent for words, in any argument with the old man used to say he had a Germanic head, when myself got older in any affray with words she would also say I had a Germanic head. Would you say she was trying to be politically correct or just that we had big heads. She was quite aware of the word Kraut as they had tried to machine gun her during a daylight raid in the London area where a messershmitt had flown over at roof level.
