Cappy if he was outside when the window fell on him I'm afraid he is not covered.I did not suggest the use of ladders the job was tobe done from inside so therefore I have no case to answer.

#163, 1:'The problem here is Terry is from Liverpool,Liverpudlians are a very tolerant breed of people our philosophy is live and let live,so we like to live our lives without interference whilst at the same time not interfering with the lives of others.'

Complete contradiction of terms there Jim, otherwise Terry would not have insulted Sutty's business integrity in the first place. Then rather than own what he implied he didn't retract. He then continued with ludicrous statements and was forced to tread water and throw every excuse under the sun for his reasoning, Terry should not have stated[in my opinion] his defamatory remark which John was perfectly entitled to defend and because he has you are now taking him to task. Where is the tolerance there one wonders

2: 'Having said that we would wonder why the likes of a retired man in Spain and people in OZ and throughout the UK would want to beat themselves up over the tube strike and the union involved, what harm are the tube train drivers doing to them.'

Then wonder no more Jim, I can only assume by that statement you never use the tube and therefore have never been held to ransom by their strikes and had to fork out a considerable sum when forced to spend a night in a hotel because of it, never mind the extra hassle of re-booking and changing other arrangements......

3: 'Take a leaf out of us scousers book Live & Let Live and you will have a much happier life without getting yourself excited over something that has nothing to do with you and is doing you no harm.'

Another laughable statement, you are now suggesting that other members should not comment on anything that does not apply to them..........s'truth

Before a retort comes back about a happy ship, it can be and is, I just think of these statements as an occasional verbal punch on here, which by all accounts did happen in reality...... Nothing wrong in clearing the air. Also think John [Albert] was perfectly entitled to bring this travesty to the fore.

And very proud of it Jim, Liverpool has given more in the entertainment world than any other city in the world, Your correct live and let live is my motto. This city is not only known for its fame and culture, But for the people themselves. Jim I have been a guest at your table with a cup of coffee in the past and you are more than welcome at mine. The scouse bashers on the site don't like us because we call a spade a spade, That's the way we where brought up its not something you can learn in a classroom its in our nature, And we all unlike others have big enough shoulders to admit when we are wrong and apologise when the need arises, If any of the seaman on here had a problem at sea with scousers you brought it on yourself, You can take the man out of Liverpool, But you will never take the Scouse out of the man. Finished with engines on this one or should I say the foot plate Terry.

I wont answer Marians post because I am a tolerant person and she is entitled to her opinion for what it's worth. But once again I see the sin of assumption in the text,I have said before never assume anything in this life.Terry has finished with engines in this and I will call it a day also.

#178, Terry the difference between us is never would I ever slander a members business acumen on a public forum, and in my personal opinion he had every right to take issue with that.
