Like most of you guys i have been to some great places and would not mind going back to those places but with different intentions now
The best trip of all would be as i have said many times would sailing up the Mersey after nearly three and a half years as a guest of the Japanese
    That was something

In my experience you didn't have to wait for autumn- if your coconuts were the right size they fell off willingly.

Hi shipmates' Only one place for me? Cardiff general station after 10 months on Ropners', but I was young and foolish, if I had what I sign up for? wild adventure ,magical islands, and payed in gold coins. I would still be at sea, I was led up the garden path by the evil men in the pool , The shipping companys told me lies? I want my time again , with proper ports, no oil jettys and free grog for all the crew, but no passage to Shangri -La. NO docks on the mountains ? there a airport so they say? Today not many places left to go at sea ?Can I crew on a star ship? plenty of new ports/planets for the young men to have fun on maybe? but dont go on any Ropners you never see earth again.

Hi Louis,.......free grog for all the crew

it sounds as tho` the only place for you is Fiddlers Green.
"Where your glass never empties and tobacco is free and bottles of grog grow on every tree, where you sit telling yarns and there`s no work to do and the Captains below making tea for the crew."
    Cheers
    Brian
