Loss of war material Dunkirk
Just been reading about the material we left behind at Dunkirk.
RN ships lost 228
Planes 1,000
Tanks 689
Vehicles 64,000
Motor Cycles 29,000
Guns £3,500
If these figures are right we must have been on the bones of our ****
we did not have much left in the UK.
No wonder we had to go to Uncle Sam cap in hand to beg for a loan.

I think we also left behind many thousands of our troops to spend the rest of the war as POW's. Regards Peter in NZ.
