Roger, to some degree I can agree with you, particularly on the voting system. I have written to my ALP member asking for the wording of the electoral commission to be changed. Voting is not compulsory where as attending a polling station may be. As of now no reply, but silly me did I realy expect to get one?
There has been a prog on ABC Sunday evening for the last couple of weeks concerning mainly past Australian PM's, Barton, Lyons, Chifley, Whitlam etc. Listeneing to their speeches you come to belive they meant good for the nation, and maybe they did, but somewhere along the way it all went pear shaped. Now despite all the rhetoric about what good they will do for the nation, I am now of the belief that it is what is good for them and their mates first and the nation second. Am I being sceptical? As to the minor parties, Palmer et al, yes they sound good on the surface but sadly once in gov thye will be little better than what we currently have. Paliament for some reason can turn sound sensible men into something totaly different. There are on both sides a few who do not become distracted by it all but they are in the minoriity and never make it to the front bench.
So for now a period of austerity, then a few years of sunshine before the advent of the next storm. Enjoy the sun whilst we may, it mat well be a short summer followed by an even Shorten one.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    . Hi Bob
I think my sons are a little better than that,
One is a world famous Consultant Hepatologist and the other one is in a very confidential position in NATO.
    Cheers
    Brian.

Hi Brian I know that but I was referring to a tale you told some time ago about having it off with a parrot and looking at a punk.
    This photo is Nigel Farrage.

I also apologise for my original post about this person.

Brian. after spending all that money on some of the rich nations, we haven't got enough
to repair our roads, I suppose the idea is to let the EU send their repair crews over so we can give another bit of the UK away.

Yes Brian that is Farage, I have no idea where the photo was taken. Perhaps there are other members who can verify it for you.

By the way I never miss reading any post by you or Roger D, Yes there are also many others but I am allowed to have my favourites.

If Cameron wants to give money to the Bums of the world then he should use his own fortune and leave our Tax Payers money for the benefit of our Country.
It is our money and should be used for us in UK only.

Alf one of the finest repair jobs carried out on the Ring of Kerry was done by an English company. They then got the contract to do many kilometers. Sorry mate, we must have sent our useless lot over to you. C'est la vie, for centuries you crap on us ... now we return the compliment.
