Re: Invasion
There was a book written by a Somali Girl who became a model , I think , her description of hat happened to her was barbaric to say the least , at best insane , not many things turn my stomach , her description did . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waris_Dirie

Re: Invasion
the reason i posted this was in fleetwood 50 s 60s most of my mates wear trawler men the thing they put up with in icland and the state of the ships at around december january ships wear lost all hands very hard men i went in the merch but i had fullrespect for them fishermen conditions that we would not have put up with.
William,
.
Fleetwood has a long history of Trawlers being lost with all hands..
Remember the GOTH, she went north of Icelandin a terrible storm, never seen again,
The Funnel was recovered off Iceland by an Icelandic Trawler and returned to Fleetwood. It is now a Memorial to the 26 men and boys who went down with her, outside of ASDA.
Cheers
Brian

brian we should and could ban the religion from this country? the queen is the defender of the Christian faith so she should and could have a say in the matter the protestant and catholic faith were banned in history? bring it back before its to late? just my view. jp

The Sovereign holds the title 'Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church of England'.
In his or her coronation oath, the Sovereign promises to maintain the Church.
The Sovereign must be in communion with the Church of England, that is, a full, confirmed member.

Not sure if that is the sam eone Brian but I do recall back in the 70's a trawler going down in icy seas. The story was that the wires and superstructure was covered in so much ice she turned turtle.

When Charles the first got the chop in 1649 so went the divine right of kings, now they are like the rest of us subjects of the parliament.
