Every one on this site, and in all western countries, have the right to freedom of speech, it is a corner stone of our democracy. In exercising that rightr we may at time say things which others may not agree with, that does not mean they are wrong, just a different opinion. Sadly there are some cultures coming into a number of western countries who do not abide by that rule and are not prepared to live by the laws of that country. I gave a thank you to your post Capt Kong as it is a fine example of the racism I was talking about . No where in my post did I mention anything about English/Welsh rivalry in North Wales as it hardly exists outside your imagination. and if it did outside the rugby field I would be the first to condemn. it as I do all racism. Incidentally my wife is English . Yes Ivan I have lived in England, Gib , Holland and like you have spent 40 years at sea

the reason i posted this was in fleetwood 50 s 60s most of my mates wear trawler men the thing they put up with in icland and the state of the ships at around december january ships wear lost all hands very hard men i went in the merch but i had full respect for them fishermen conditions that we would not have put up with
