Re: The Romanians Are Coming.
Im so glad that people can speak their mind because if Abbott the Rabbott was able to Ban it he would. On a survey opinion of Abbott now as we speak Abbott and his Front Bench would be rubbed out of Office straight away.
I for one find his Immigration Treatment of people on Manus Island deploreable, and actually cruel to say the least in fact i wouldnt be surprised if Abbott and Morrison his , and his Goebels type henchman (Pine) are condemned by the United Nations.
You doubt me on the mines Subsidy , I can verify it 3 Billion dollars, and the Mines pay less tax than Australias workers who pay 70% of all Australian Tax.
your Rich are free loaders and they also love converted People of former poverty Merchant Navy wages who suddenly see a flash of Aristocrat Lightning and convert to the Word of Liberal.
The next battle on our Hands here in Australia is the SPC fruit Company and the Growers, after that Qantas and then you can watch even your water get sold off so that you will pay your overseas Landlord for the Priviledge of living in this Country
when the Indonesians have enough good class Cattle to breed they will so no more live Cattle and will probably own your land as well to do their own breeding of Cattle.
Every thing that has been sold here Electricity Gas, and Telstra all the People goldmine have been sold by the Liberal Coalition. i will make sure very sure that the Member for the Wimmera Mallee will be thrown out on his ear at the next election, unless he chooses to ensure the re-employment of thousands of Australian Workers who will lose their jobs.
As for Clive Palmer he is only there to make sure decisions politically go his way, Gina well now should she be a nun well her half Aboriginal Sister in Western Australia is not very impressed with her, nor her family , and least of all the Tax department who miss out on Billions as all of our resources get sold off to China Tax Free even use their own Port now Albany sold to china, that liberal policy.
How any working class man could possibly vote for an evil human such as Blow Fly Abbott, I guarrentee you he will only be in office one term or even Less.
You may well be the only one in your street that votes for him.
Life is only once then your gone so why miss out. Gina hasnt have you .

Re: The Romanians Are Coming.
Here because of lethargy . disinterest , only 65.1% of the electorate turned out , I believed that Australian Elections had compulsory voting , so we can blame the 34.9% who did not vote for a bad result , That is a problem with democracy , ' you get what you vote for .

Re: The Romanians Are Coming.
#33 If and I hope a double dissolution is called I would certainly vote for Abbot. Anything to keep that last bunch of gangsters out. Further into the future if this country ever and it will go to a Republic I would vote for someone like Clive Palmer for President. Put that one in your mixing bowl, I am sure I am not the only one who thinks like this either. John S

Re: The Romanians Are Coming.
#35.. Rob the only thing not fair with the Australian Elections is it should be first past the post. Out here you get about 9 names and have to put down your preference 123 etc. Not being very bright I made sure the Greens and Labour was at the very end, others will fiddle with this and another party will get in on preferences alone. The present government has to have time to sort out the disaster left behind by the last ratbags.I am not labour or liberal and will vote for the best option, it certainly wasn't Labour in the past 10 years or so, and by their past performances it will be another 10 years before they get back in if ever. By that time depending on the way the UK goes with Europe we maybe a Republic in any case. Cheers John S.

Re: The Romanians Are Coming.
RE #33 , I started work at 17 after School Exams , most of my peer group left at 15 or sixteen , after fifty years of work we all become pensioners next year at 65 , I paid a lot of money into pension funds in those years , so my wife and i could have an interesting retirement , and after my wife died seven years a go my future needs were reduced , just me to fend for , and the mortgage paid , so I retired at 58 . But my peer group had 50 years of work from 15 then the average age to life's end was 70 so we looked forward to five years before death . Life expectancy is now 79 , but talking to my mid teen Grandchildren they will not be out of education until they are 21/22 so forty eight years work ( 2 year reduction ) takes them until 70 then they have nine years of retirement to look forward to , a four year extension . I see that as an improvement . BUT talking to youngsters they think saving for retirement is garbage , they believe the state will keep them . I saved , I enjoyed what I saved for . What is in the future for today's youth is better than what we had . The only problem is the employment , Most of these kids want jobs , but there is a hard core believe in lifelong state support , we have to change that . If they want , or , see the need for unions , let them join them , the good ones here work well with the employers , the bad ones work well with the politicians , We look back too much at times the World has changed , not necessarily improved but changed
